KENYA

Our instructor was Mr. Harrison Kamau who is accompanying his wife, and his wife Grace is a Hiroshima Univ. student and she also joined us.

Menu

・Ugali
・Chapati
・Chicken stew
・Kenyan milk tea


It was delicious, especially we all enjoyed the chapati(Kenya bread).

Japanese participants' impression

●Making chapati out of flour was a lot of fun. ●My body just liked the Kenya dishes.
●The use of garlic and ginger for the chiken was something really learnable.
●I wish to learn more and hope I will come back again and again.

Participants
In total, 17 people (2 instructors、2 vlunteer staff) joined, Japanese not only from Kumano-town, but also from other neighboring areas (Hiroshima City, Kure City, etc.) came to join. Thank you so much for your great coorperation, everyone.

 

● Two members took turn, and picked up the instructor in the morning then took them back to Higashi-hiroshima City after the club. Thank you so much for your great help.
