Pedro E. Diaz High School-Buli Annex

PEDHS-BA is located at Espeleta Street, Buli. The 2814 sq. m. school was located in the former site of the Buli Elementary School. Due to the increase of enrollment and the floods during rainy seasons, the latter was moved to another place. After more than ten years the idle site was made useful again as the local government decided to build a secondary school at the said place that is now known as the PEDHS-Buli Annex. Operation started on June 07, 1999. It has a two storey building (with five classrooms per storey) which was homed initially by 383 first year students of the nearby barangays. Its Thrusts and Programmes include: Health and Nutrition; Supplementary Feeding; Sports and Journalism; Active Scouting Movement; Remedial Classes in English and Mathematics; Collegial and Quality Circle, among others. As of SY 2001-2002, the teacher-student ratio was 1:35 (PEDHS-BA Handout, 2000).
