Cat Aug 31/03 Far away to the vast north, way up at the Sound Sits a cottage, all nestled, dense forest around Our haven, our seclusion, it calls to our souls Long walk, making dinner, our immediate goals At the close of day, we're content and replete Sitting on the dock's edge, dangling our feet A panorama of colours, are awash in the skies Molten red-golden sun reflects in our eyes Ssshh, listen now, I can hear the whisper of wings Birds roosting, frogs croaking, a cricket that sings Peace and tranquility now are ours for the taking Soft kisses, warm looks, the love we'll be making Nestled securely in your arms,  I welcome the dawn Hear the loons calling faintly, across our front lawn We arise, stroll to the water and greet the new day Inner peace and contentment, living our lives this way.
