Frank and Gracie

They met on the internet
It was love at first byte
"Hi, my name is Gracie,
and I frequent this site."

He quickly typed back to her
"Hi Gracie, the name's Frank,
I'm single, live in the west,
I run the local food bank."

"Well Frank, it's nice to meet you,
It's a pleasure I'm sure."
Long, long hours they chatted
Time whizzed by in a blur.

One fine day Gracie exclaimed
"I'd love to cam with you."
He told her, I'm getting too old
"Why I'm now eighty two!"

"Baby, I'm no spring chicken,
I'm a spry eighty one."
"I workout and I walk,
we'll have oodles of fun."

Many months now had passed
They had fallen in love
Their interests and hobbies
Just fit like an old glove

"Now Frank baby you must know,
you tickle my fancy"
"Gracie, what do you think,
of that new book by Clancy?"

Oh how they planned and they talked
Of what programs they'd share
Maybe dance 'round the room
Like Rogers and Astaire

"Babe, I've a question to ask!"
"Now girlie I love you,
you already know that."
"Marry me Gracie, say 'I do'!"

Then Gracie quickly agreed
Gleeful to share her life
"Frank, you'll have to move east"
"Yes, I'll become your wife!"

Standing before the preacher
The love showed in their eyes
As they pledged and promised
To love until their demise.

Left the church in quite a hurry
A huge smile on each face
Frank drove down every road
Like he's in a big drag race

Pulling up in the driveway
They ran into her house
She turned on the comp
And he picked up the mouse

Gracie looked into his eyes
"Quick Frank, land sakes alive!"
"Long months I've waited for
your floppy in my drive!"
