As the snow softly falls
Out across all the land
Tigress guards her domain
Fully ready to make a stand

Majestically regal in her aerie
High up at mountain's edge
Her restful watchfulness
As she reclines on the ledge

Mighty guardian on high
She'll watch and she'll wait
An intruder draws nearer
What will be its fate?

Has a prey crossed her path?
Or is she fed and replete?
Will hunger now force her
To kill; feast on some meat?
