Essentially I'm into melodic/alternative metal but I have a very open mind to many different styles. I don't want to put myself in any boxes, so basically I like dynamic alternative metal with primarily clean vocals (I do like screams tastefully placed) and a melodic side, but still with plenty of aggression to satisfy my metal needs. I like to leave room for a lot of creativity; maybe some complex, crazy, or funky stuff thrown in sometimes. Emotion, creative freedom and just plain rockin' out hard is the bottom line. The following bands (in no particular order) are ones that have inspired me and with styles that I enjoy, but am definitly not limited to. |
