The high profile Nicholas Tse (or Xie Ting
Feng) has released his second Mandarin album.
Produced by, among others, Huang Da Jun and
Peter Wong, this latest ten-track offering contains a string of
slow-rock ballads such as the first single "You Won't
Understand" (which sounds a bit out-dated to me) and the third single "281
Km".
Amidst his hectic schedule which includes
going out on dates with Faye Wong and giving a tongue-lashing
exercise on TVB's programmes, the talented kid still managed to squeeze time
to compose three songs, including the radio-friendly second
single "Dedicate A Song" which reminded me of Dave
Wong (or Wang Jie) after listening to it.
Singer cum song-writer Zhang Hong Liang
also composed, co-wrote and produced a ballad song "My Love
Exists Because Of You".
The first batch of the limited-edition
album comes enclosed in a sleek cardboard package.

Soon-to-be-father Jacky Cheung has released
his very first EP under a new record label, namely, What's
Music.
There are three vocal tracks, all belonging
to the same melody song but in three different languages :
Mandarin, Cantonese and English. The song is the
advertisement title-theme song for the Disney movie
"Dinosaur".
A note-worthy mention is that Jacky Cheung
pens the lyrics for the Mandarin version of the theme song,
reportedly inspired by his wife and his baby foetus.
The EP comes in the AVCD format, meaning it
doubles up as a VCD which contains the music videos for all the
three different language numbers.
