Mr Leyal I am Informed by my Brother BENJ. STOUT that you Desire me to take an Inventory of ye Estate of WILLI[AM] MERRILL Deseased, which I do refuse to do or Concern my Self about that Estate which will onely be a profitles[s] tro[u]ble for me which I am not able to undergoe.

Sir as you have obtained the first Judgment, I desire you to Come and administer or Send me a Letter if you do not see Cause to administer that. I desire an ans[w]er by the next post in order that Some way May be taken to Clear me of this Concern.
