Elizier and Anna Caroline (Mackey) Patton are buried at Davidson River Cemetery, Pisgah Forest, Transylvania County, North Carolina.
WILLIAM H. MACKEY, b. July 31, 1819 Buncombe (Transylvania) County, NC, d. April 1, 1846; md. MARY ECHOLS. He removed to Cherokee County, Alabama. He served in the North Carolina Volunteers during the Cherokee Indian Removal of 1836.
ALEXANDER HAMILTON MACKEY, b. March 8, 1822 Buncombe (Transylvania) County, NC, d. January 7, 1895; md. June 19, 1845, MARY AUBREY, b. September 15, 1826, d. March 12, 1905. He resided in Collinsville, DeKalb County, AL.

June 18, 1868, HARRIET L. HENDERSON, b. September 10, 1837 Cherokee County, AL. Robert Lester Mackey removed to Cherokee County, AL and later Gregg County, TX. He is buried in Summerfield Cemetery, Gregg County, TX.
