Exactly! Angelo had potential in his voice, inherited by his mother who supported him so he could join and be part of what was Menudo. He auditioned like three times and was chosen among lots of boys. He sang 5 songs from Menudo and one of Madonna’s and after a few days, the telephone rang… Angelo was already Menudo.

When it come to singing there was no problem, but when it come to dancing he had two left feet. His sister and Joselo Vega helped him to become better in that aspect.

He was with Menudo for 2 and a half years approximately and participated in 3 records. “You’ve got potential”, “To leave one more”, “En mis sueños”, “Escapando de ti”, “Giro” and “No volverá a ocurrir” were the songs he interpreted and recorded for Menudo.

With hard work he won the heart of fans, he was such a heartbreaker that a little girl was inspired by him to write a song titled simply “Angelo”.
