Lo que te quiero decir en está Navidad . . .
Para mi esposa con
mucho cariño:
siempre estoy pensando
en ti
porque en ti encuentro
paz y felicidad.
Ti me alientas para
vivir,
despierto y miro tu
rostro.
Si duermo te sueño a
mi lado
¡Hoy te quiero más que
o nadie!
Porque he descubierto
lo que significas para me;
sólo aquí se valora lo
que se tiene
¡Y tú para mi lo eres
todo!
Eres como el sol que
ilumina mi sendero,
aurora que resplandece
al amanecer.
Me das paz, amor y
ternura,
como lo luna al sol su
amor puro.
Te diré que la fealdad
y la belleza van de la mano
y solo son
características del ser humano.
¡Nueve meses no
bastaron para olvidarte!
Y mucho menos ahora
que he nacido para admirarte.
Te quiero, te amo.
Porque siempre estoy pensando en ti.

SOLEDAD
CUANTOS MÁS COMO YO SOLOS ESTAN
RECORDAR AL HIJO A LA MUJER AMADA
EN ESPERA DE LA CENTENCIA O LA LIVERTAD
NO LO SÉ, TAL VEZ CIENTOS O MILES
PERO SOLOS ESTAN.
CON LA MURADA TRISTE ENMOMESIDA
Por los recuerdos del
ayer
Recuerdos que brotan y
vuelan
Y EN SUEÑOS LOS VUELVO
ASOÑAR.
POR LA VENTANA VEO EL
PATIO ILUMINADO
DONDE EN EL DIA ESCONDO
MI ROSTRO Y ESPERANZA
QUE EN LA SOLEDAD SE
VUELVE LLANTO.
ENMINMENTE FLUYEN RECUERDOS
AE IDEAS
QUE SÉ IMPRREGNAN EN LAS
DESNUDAS PAREDES
DE MI CELDA
OTRA VEZ SOLO
LAS IDEAS CORREN COMO RIO
EN CAUDAL
Y ME PREGUNTO CUANTOS
MÁS, COMO YO,
SOLOS ESTAN.

SIN DESIR ADIOS
ESE DOMINGO DE
SOMBRAS CON DESESPERACIÓN
TO SUFRISTE MUCHO POR MÍ
SAN GRANDO TU CORAZON.
20 DE JULIO NO SE OLVIDARA
PORQUE LO LLEVARE
EXTERNAMENTE
20 DE JULIO NO SE OLVIDARA
POR QUE QUEDO IMPREGNADO
ENTUMENTE.
ESPERANDO MIS HIJOS SE QUEDARON
SOLOS SIN LA ESPERANZA DE
VOLVERME AVER
PERO MÁS TISTE ME SENTIA
CUANDO DESDE EL CIOLO
SUSPIRABA POR ULTIMA VEZ.
SÉ LO MUCHO QUE ME QUIERES
PERO NUNCA ME LO DIJISTE
SÉ EL ESFUERZO QUE HIJISTE
PARA QUE YO APARECIERA.
NUEVE MESES FUÍ CAUTIVO
SOPORTANDO ESE INFIERNO
NUEVE MESES ME BASTARON
PARA FORJAR EL CAMINO.

Hijito mío:
Aunque eres
muy pequeñito ya conoces el rigor de una vida llena de penalidades.
Ya que
había soñado labrar para ti un futuro brillante.
Me he visto
obligado a padecer desaparición y tortura.
Me contó tu

What I Want to Tell You This Christmas . . .
Dear Mother
and Father,
I am
writing you to tell you that I love you.
As we grow
up, we search always for happiness and try not to make the mistakes that our
parents made. We try to escape the
vicious circle of poverty and ignorance.
Thus, some people think that by becoming wealthy they will achieve the
happiness they hope for so much, and their first priority is not to lose their
money. Certainly, money makes it
possible for us to be happy. But it
should not be our goal. Our goal should
be to develop to the utmost those faculties that make us human beings. These parts of us all depend upon a single
word: Love.
So the
challenge that we face each day is to overcome ignorance, break through the
barriers that our fellow human beings put in front of us, and to recognize our
brothers and sisters as essential, so that together we can make this a kinder
world, one that we can live in. People
do have a dream of a more humane and egalitarian world, and as this is a month
of fantasies and good intentions I did not want to let the opportunity pass to
express my own. After all, we do not
ask, as poor people, that we be given anything for free, but rather that we be
allowed to have a livelihood that will afford us that which is most basic: a
life with dignity. But now I am
broaching the subject of extreme wealth and extreme poverty, and some are
bothered by those of us who take ideological positions in these matters.
Mother, the
value of the present is only in our remembering together, in spite of the
distance, that we have known each other for ten Christmas seasons and that
Father has been with us for three. I
also want you to know that before you I was wandering without direction in an
enormous emptiness. It is because of
you that even in these conditions I have a reason to exist. It is because of you that each day I resolve
firmly to go forward and to make of our house a true home, in which each of us
will be able to reach our own goals, which will always be, I am sure, our
personal fulfillment and not material accumulation.
Although
you already know the way that I think and feel, I thought it would be
worthwhile to reaffirm a few of my ideas.
Even though this is one of the coldest months the warmth of humanity makes it one of the most
beautiful times of year. Let us hope,
then, that it will last a while.
Finally I
want to remind you that I need you because I love you, and that I hope that
life fills you with happiness.
Nol, Bulma:
Be happy now and always.
I love you.
