Puerto
Escondido has much to enjoy: a stimulating environment rich in culture and
natural beauty. Its tropical climate boasts rain forest, wildlife, perfect
for surfing and
swimming.
Beautiful Puerto Escondido is located 180 miles south of Oaxaca
city. The area is known as the Emerald Coast for its jade-green
waters.
Surrounded by a colorful landscape, Puerto Escondido has a relaxed, secure
feeling of a small town. Its beaches are famous for their beauty, it is also
the surfer´s paradise (Zicatela Beach) with high waves that challenge
the most advanced surfer. The best time to surf in Puerto Escondido is in
the summer.
Other beaches are calm and sort of natural pools, where you can enjoy the great scenery and view.
In Puerto Escondido you can also experiment Ecotourism, particularly in Chacahua Lagoon, the place is just gorgeous!

Information
To enter Mexico student will need a tourist card or visa, which can be obtained
free of charge from any Mexican Tourist Council Office.
Tourist visas are granted for 30, 60, 90, 120 or 180 days.
How to arrive
Estrella Blanca group has buses that go all the way from Mexico City to Puerto
Escondido.
Airport
(PXM)
Puerto Escondido´s airport (PXM) is located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca,
México. There are numerous flights to and from Puerto Escondido´s
Airport.
Flight directly to Puerto Escondido by plane and we will pick you up at the
airport*.
If you arrive to Huatulco first (it is almost 2 hours away from Puerto Escondido
by car) we can also arrange your pick up**.
