Certain things can happen and get us really, really down. That's a process we must all go through. No one is immune to pain and suffering, to sadness and emptiness. What's important is to hang in there. Remind yourself that things will always get better. After a storm, the sun will shine again. It may be a few minutes later, a few hours, or even a few days. But it will always happen. This does not mean that the negative emotions you experience at the time are trivial. They are real, and they are important. But remember that time heals wounds. The sadness will pass. Just be patient. Sunshine will come. Give yourself time. "Let your hopes, not your hurts, shape your future." -- http://journey.20fr.com |

Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself. - Og Mandino |

You never leave someone behind, you take a part of them with you and leave a part of yourself behind.
I made the choice to finally go because I can’t stand this pain. It’s time for my last tear to fall and me to smile again. - Brandy |
Letting Go |
Sometimes you have to let go of something to know if there's really something worth holding on to. - Anonymous |
Some people come into our live and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our live for a while, leave footprints in our hearts and we are never, ever the same. - Unknown |

A break-up is like a broken mirror. It's better to leave it broken than hurt yourself trying to fix it. |
Now, I don't cry anymore because it's over. I smile because it happened. |
I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken -- and I'd rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived. - Margaret Mitchell |
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. - Gilda Radner |
When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us. - Helen Keller |
