Written by Camerons Mum Read by Minister - Robyn Melsop When I was born I had a lot of hair and mum always said I was her little monkey. Cameron was born with a lot of hair too, and now I have my own little monkey to treasure. Unfortunately I won't be able to watch him grow, I can only imagine what kind of person he would have been. I think he would have been a rugby player, because he was very active in the womb - always kicking and booting. He would have had a sweet tooth, like his mum - because I ate a lot of chocolate while I was pregnant - and I know he liked it. He would have loved Pooh bear and Tigger - no child of mine could not!!! - His room is adorned with Pooh Bear accessories I am sure he would have been a perfectly behaved child!!! - Actually if he was anything like me, he would have stomped his feet and yelled and screamed While looking at his face I can see myself and the members of my family in him - he definitely was going to look like me I am sure he would have grown up to be a doctor, or lawyer, or maybe found a cure for cancer - who knows!!! Unfortunately I will never get to find these things out, I can only dream and wonder. I have had a few days to spend with my silent, still child and I have an overwhelming love for him - like no other love I have ever felt - No words can describe it |
Written by A.A. Milne Read by Minister - Robyn Melsop "Pooh!" called out Christopher Robin "Yes"? said Pooh "When I'm - when - Pooh!" "Yes Christopher Robin?" "I'm not going to do nothing any more" "Never again?" Well, not so much, they dont let you" Pooh waited for him to go on, but he was silent again "Yes Christopher Robin?" said Pooh helpfully "Pooh when I'm - You know - When I'm not doing nothing, will you come up here sometimes?" "Just Me?" "Yes Pooh" "Will you be here too?" "Yes Pooh I will be really. I Promise I will be Pooh." "Thats Good" said Pooh "Pooh Promise you wont forget about me, ever. Not even when I'm a hundred" Pooh thought for a little "How old shall I be then!" "Ninety Nine" Pooh Nodded "I promise" he said Still with his eyes on the world Christopher Robin put out a hand and felt for Pooh's paw "Pooh said Christopher Robin earnestly "if I - if I'm not quite - he stopped and tryed again - "Pooh, whatever happens, you will understand won't you?" "Understand What?" "Oh nothing" he laughed and jumped to his feet "Come on" "Where?" said Pooh "Anywhere" said Christopher Robin |
