The Sailor has sailed in all the earthly waters
The Wave has seen her share of stormy seas
The Soldier has walked the ground in many lands
The Wac has done what no woman should have to do
The Airman too, has flown over many
terrains
The Waf has done her time in dangerous clouds
The Marine has been active on almost all fronts
The Woman Marine has assisted in all departments
The feeling of security and precious freedoms
The respect and admiration we all profoundly have
The sorrowful painful memories of duties performed
The reminder that this of all days is upper most
The home front warriors also have done their duties
The long hours with hardly any respite forth coming
The building, riveting, assembling, welding all for one
The work all done in a cheerful we will win attitude
The veterans all, we bow heads in humble gratitude
The day also of sorrowful remembrances of departed
The ones who never will be forgotten now or in future
The young men and women who gave their very best
The world this day and every day to come must relive
The suffering of all countries who were down
trodden
The joyful exuberances and celebrations when strife over
The very utmost guarantee that it will never come again
