Kebab Digi
Pan Kebab

These Kebabs are meant to be made in a pan. (hence the name "digi")
You can barbecue or broil them if you prefer.




1 lb ground Lamb OR Beef
1/2 cup grated Onion
1/2 tsp ground Cumin
1/4 tsp ground Turmeric
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp ground Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Baking Soda

small amount of Vegetable OR Olive Oil



1.  Mix everything together in a bowl.
         Cover, refrigerate 2 - 3 hours.

2.  Just before you are ready to cook,
         pre-heat a large pan to medium-high.

3.  Spread meat out into a large rectangle,  5" wide & 3/4" thick
         Cut widthwise every 3/4" to make
         5" x 3/4" x 3/4" kebabs. (Similar in size to fish sticks!)

4.  Lightly oil the preheated pan
         Cook kebabs on medium-high about 5 - 6 minutes.
         Turn once, cook another 5 - 6 minutes.

5.  Serve.
