Photos: Krzysztof has made a collage and has very kindly offered to put together a slide show. Check out what is up so far , and if you have any photos, please send a copy to us or to Krzysztof.
If you forgot to take a wine cork after the wedding, let me know and I'll send one (please allow six to eight months for delivery). There are also a few leftover invitations.

Travel Logistics
Unless you are getting to the island by boat or by sea-plane, you will need to take a ferry to Pender from either Tsawwassen (outside of Vancouver) or Swartz Bay (25 km north of Victoria).
Check the ferry schedules at
BC Ferries or click here for a
summary of ferry times to/from Pender. The ferry times on the wedding invitations were for the winter schedule--in most cases the schedule is similar, but double-check to be sure.
Note: If you are bringing a car on the ferry from Tsawwassen, you will need to reserve a spot in advance on-line or by calling 1-888-223-3779 or (250) 386-3431.

Once you get to Pender
If all goes well, there will be a car to meet you at the ferry terminal. E-mailing us with your arrival time will guarantee it! If you need to contact us on the island you can reach us by cell phone at (206) 909-1053 or (613) 294-7812.
Or, just come find us. All day Saturday we'll be at the Community Hall for the fall fair. Other days, you can come by our place at 5613 Razor Point Road. There will be an open door and a pot of tea (or coffee) brewing at all hours, and you're encouraged to drop by!
You might find it useful to bring your invitation, which has a map of the island and a list of contact numbers. David's cell phone number has changed -- his new number is (206) 909-1053.
NOTICE and RIDE BOARD!
This is a space where people can post a message if they're looking for
a ride to the island, or if they're driving and have space for
passengers. You might also want to coordinate taxi-sharing from the Vancouver airport to the ferry terminal -- the cheapest, and definitely the most stylish way to get to the airport is to share a stretch limo that will hold up to six people. Just e-mail us with your travel details and contact info and we'll post the message.
Presents 'n stuff.
Some people have been asking about gifts. You should definitely not
feel obliged to give a gift, but if you would like to we are most
gratefully accepting donations towards a pair of beautiful ocean kayaks (some friends are leaving town and selling them, there's a picture of one of them below). We have also made a registry for
kitchen stuff at Crate and Barrel (click here for information on
Canadian and international orders). Alternatively, bring something to add to the wedding festivities!
