My Budget-Saving One Penny At A Time

The first thing that used to come to mind when someone was talking about having a budget was how can one have a budget if one does not have a lot of money to work with?
It always seemed to me that all these budget plans were set up for someone with money.
The reason I felt that way was because it seemed that they were all geared so that you had to allott 30% here and 20% here and so on.
Also if you are a stay-at-home like me, how are tips like bring your lunch from home and car-pool to work, going to help you?

After years of running my household on a tight budget my husband got a better paying job. That should have been the end of our money worries right? Wrong.
It is really very easy. The first thing that you are going to want to do is find out what you have to work with. So you are going to have to keep track of what income you have coming in and what has to go out.

There are so many little things that you can do around the house to save money. Some people can call me cheap if they want to, I just call it being creative.
Here's a couple of things that I like to do. Did you know that a lot of times you can get away with using half a dryer sheet in the dryer. I do that a lot of times and then I save the used dryer sheets and use them for dusting. They work great on the T.V.
Another thing is to try and do as much of your baking as you can on the same day. Once the oven is preheated all you will have to do is adjust the temperature for each different batch of baking you do.

There are so many little things that a person can do to save money around the house, and every little bit helps.
