LACY SLANT V STITCH DISH CLOTH

Materials Needed:

WW Cotton Yarn

Size G Hook

Approx Size

8½ x 8½

Special Stitches:

Slant V Stitch: sc, ch1, dc in same stitch

Ch 34

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and each stitch across (33 sc)

Row 2: Ch1 turn, work (sc ch 1 dc) in first st to form slant V, *skip next 2 stitches, (sc ch 1 dc) in next st. Repeat * across to last 3 sts, skip next 2 sts hdc in last st. Ch 1 and turn.

Row 3-15: (Sc ch 1 dc)in each ch 1 space across, hdc in turning ch 1 of previous row. Ch 1 and turn

Edging:

Row 1: Sc evenly around with 3 sc in corners. Join with sl st to first sc.

Row 2: Ch 1 sc, 2 dc in same space as Ch 1, *skip 2 stitches, (1 sc 2 dc)in next st. Repeat * around. Join with sl st to first sc.

Finish off and weave in ends.
