SLANT V STITCH PLACEMAT

Materials Needed:

WW cotton yarn, color of your choice

Size "G" Hook

Approx size: 16½w x 12½ h

Row 1: Ch 71, sc in second ch from hook and each ch across. (70 sc)

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in same sp as ch 1 and each st across.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in same sp as ch 1, (sc, ch 1, dc) in next st to form slant V, * sk next 2 sts, (sc, ch 1, dc) in next st. Repeat * across to last 2 sts, sc in last st.

Row 4-33: Repeat Row 3

Row 34: Ch 1, turn, sc in same sp as ch 1, sc in each st and ch 1 space across. (70 sc)

Row 35: Repeat Row 34

Edging:

Ch 1, turn, sc in same sp as ch 1, sc evenly around, using 3 sc in corner. Finish off and weave in ends
