BOB-BOB-BOBBLE ALONG DISHTOWEL

Materials:

WW Cotton Yarn

Size "G" Hook

Cute Button

Needle and thread

Bobble Stitch: Work 3 DC, always inserting the hook into the same stitch and leaving the last loop of each DC on the hook, YO and draw through all the loops on the hook to complete.

Row 1: With size "G" hook ch 54, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. Turn. (53 sc)

Row 2: Sc in each st across. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 1 sc in same st, sc in next st, * work 3 dctog in next st, 1 sc in each of next 3 st, rep from * to last 3 sts, work 3dctog into next st, sc in each of next 2 sts. Turn.

Row 4: Ch 3 (count as first dc now and throughout), dc in each st across. Turn. (53 dc)

Row 5: Ch 1 sc in same st, sc in next st, * work 3 dc tog in next st, 1 sc in each of next 3 st, rep from * to last 3 sts, work 3dctog into next st, sc in each of next 2 sts. Turn.

Row 6 & 7: Ch 1 sc in same st, sc in each st across. Turn.

Row 8: Ch 3, dc in each st across. Turn

Row 9 & 10: Ch 1 sc in same st, sc in each st across. Turn

Row 11-49: Repeat rows 8-10 (13 times.)

Row 50: Ch 1 sc in same st, sc in next st, (To decrease-draw up a loop in each of the next two sc, yo, pull through all three loops on hook), decrease across to last st, sc in last st. Ch 1, turn.

Rows 51-61: (To decrease-draw up a loop in each of the next two sc, yo, pull through all three loops on hook). Decrease over the first 2 sc, sc in each st across until last 2 sc, decrease over last 2 sc. Ch 1, turn

Row 62: Sc in same space as Ch 1, sc in next st, sc dec, sc in last 2 sts. Ch 1, turn (5 sc)

Row 63-77: Sc in each sc across, ch 1 turn. (5 sc)

Row 78: This will be for the button hole: Sc in first sc, ch 3, skip next 3 sc, sc in last sc. Ch 1 turn.

Row 79: : Sc in the first sc, sc in each of the next 3 chs, sc in last sc. Ch 1 turn.

Row 80: Decrease over the first 2 sc, sc in next st, decrease over last 2 sc. Ch 1 turn. (3 sc)

Edging

SC evenly around entire towel, working 3 sc in each corner.

Join with sl st to first sc of edging. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Fold over top of towel to mark and sew button.
