X Stitch Dishcloth

X STITCH DISHCLOTH

Materials Needed

WW cotton any color

Small amount of contrasting color

Size "G" hook

Difficulty: Easy

Ch 39 HDC in second ch from hook and each ch.

Rnd 1: Ch 2,counts as first hdc now and throughout, turn and hdc in each st across. (38 dc)

Rnd 2: Ch 3,counts as first dc now and throughout, turn, *sk next hdc and dc in next st, dc in sk st*, repeat until last st, dc in last st. There will be 18 X stitches

Rnd 3-5: repeat Rnd 2.

Rnd 6-7: Repeat Rnd 1 Rnd

8-11: Repeat Rnd 2

Rnd 12-13: Repeat Rnd 1 Rnd:

14-17: Repeat Rnd 2

Rnd: 18-19: Repeat Rnd 1 and finish off.

Edging: Rnd 1: With sl st join in any hdc ch2 *hdc in next st across, 3 hdc in corners.* Repeat from * to* for next 3 sides. Join with sl st to top of ch2.

Rnd 2: Repeat Rnd 1 and finish off.
