Greetings... I'm Ash- The owner of this site and author/artist of all its material. I hope you're enjoying your visit! Anyways... about me. I'm a junior in High School outside of Chicago. I am (see above) a violinist and am looking to major in performance and composition at a university or conservatory after my senior year. Though I enjoy writing, music is my main thing:-) I write music too... hence the composition aspirations. Not to say any of my stuff is any good... I'm sure most people would cringe if they heard it... which is why they don't:-) So yes... I study violin privately right now with Chad Gifford who is a rock violinist here in Chicago. I've studied violin in Italy, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. So yeah... that's violin... Uh I do the guitar thing. I mostly write for guitar since I'm too lazy to read guitar tabs most of the time. Creative fuel. I do art, see art page:-) I'm in AP portfolio art this year and my concentration is violin/ musical imagery representing classical and instrumental pieces. So, most of the art on the page is out of that portfolio. So... what else about me. I stay up really late. In fact it's about 2 am now. That's when most of my good thinking goes on. No distractions other than the stupid train. Well yes... that is me.
