My-Mar Acres Welsh Ponies is a small, farm-based acreage in Virden, Manitoba, just a few miles off of TransCanada HWY #1, thirty minutes east of the Saskatchewan border, and one hour north on HWY #83 of the North Dakota, USA border.

A deep love for horses and ponies brought me to begin riding at the age of 3 ½. My husband and I initially began our farm with Arabian horses until we caught our first glimpse of the extraordinarily beautiful Welsh Pony. Since then, we fell in love with the Welsh breed, founding My-Mar Acres Welsh in 1976.

We have since grown significantly and, through sales, many of our ponies have traveled all over Canada. Some have even gone to the USA to purchasers looking for show ponies, and just all-around great kids' ponies.
