The Julie Story A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...well actually November 7, 1966, in Charlotte, NC...I was born. My family moved to  Asheville  when I was four.  I've been here ever since.  I am the youngest - the very youngest - of four children.  In fact, my siblings are 21, 20 and 10 years older than I am. After some turbulent adolescent years, I made in to adulthood (yeah-rah).  I have been married to my second husband, Joel, since April 12,  1997.  (You don't EVEN want to know about the first marriage!)  I have two super gorgeous, incredibly intelligent daughters.  Sarah was born October 28, 1993.  Rachel joined us March 12, 2000.  After being involved in real estate in one capacity or another for many years, I am now a stay at home mom.  We have two dogs, Gilda and Zeke, and one queen of the universe - um, I mean cat, Mercedes.

My Best Friends... Steve Griffin, my oldest friend.  We've known each other since I was in eighth grade! Linda Vinciguerra, another old friend.  She lives on the east coast of NC now so we don't get to see each other that often.  She is Sarah's godmother. Ben Friedman, ultimate entertainer!  I've known Ben since 1986.  He has become a dear friend.  Ben lives in Roswell, GA with wife Jenny and cutie son Henry.  Ben is Sarah's godfather. Tori Rector, sorority sister.  Tori and I were Alpha Delta Pi sorority sisters in college.  She is now a teacher.  Kelly Guy, online success story!  Kelly and I met in a pregnancy chat room of all places.  We realized we only lived about 30 minutes apart and have become close friends. Audrey Fowler, ADPi sister.  Audrey was also a sorority sister.  She lives in Charlotte now.  I don't get to see her often but we always have a good time when we can get together. My Travels... I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel pretty extensively in my younger years.  I plan to eventually do a page just on my travels soon.  Places I have visited include much of the US including Hawai'i, Mexico, Canada, Bahamas, Spain, Moroco, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
