Letter From an Angel

Jesus,

Please deliver this to the one I call mother, I felt her heartbeat through my soul is a world where I knew no other.

Please tell her I'm safe and happy Lord, in your warm and loving light.

Please stop her heart from breaking and hold her through this darkest night.

Don't let her spirit feel torment, let her know I'm in your care, make her heart stay strong and full of lovem for I'll be dwelling htere.

Tell her I know how she adored me, I heard the song that her soul sings.

Just tell her this tiny precious angel wasn't quite ready to shed his wings.

A very dear friend of mine wrote these kind words in a card she sent to me:

Dear Jenn, Matt and Emma,

On my way home from the service today I felt that the Lord gave me something to share with you guys. There were probably so many things you both were hoping to do with Nicholas like riding bikes or reading books togethere. I feel like God wants to say to you guys that there is still one thing you can do together, and that is to worship Him. Nicholas is in the presence of God for eternity now and is ALWAYS worshipping the Lord and now EVERY TIME you choose to worship God you are doing so along side of Nicholas. There is no greater thing a parent can do with their child.

To my Nephew
Nicholas Matthew Slager:

First I want you to know that uncle loves you and misses you very much. Even though I only saw you for a moment in time, you touched my heart forever. As I was holding you and looking into your face I saw a peaceful glow. A glow that told me you were with Jesus
Nicholas I will miss watching you grow up and I will miss doing all the stuff an uncle does. You must have been one very special boy for the Lord to take you so soon. Nicholas, you will be in my heart until I see you again.

Matt, Jenn, and Emma,
I want you to know that even though we don't understand why this happened, the Lord our God is still in control.
