Other ways to increase your cashflow
On most sites, there are two other easy ways to make money.
Referrals
The amount you are paid for a referral
will vary from site to site. On average referral bonus is 10-20%
on the first level and 5-10% on the second. Some have more levels
than that, but not many. GPT is not MLM or pyramid based. Your referrals
lose nothing, you are being given a bonus on top of your own and
thier earnings.
Some websites have a system in place where even an unreffered person
can still become another members referral. Spam is not allowed for
promoting your referral links on any GPT site that I have seen yet.
Your account can and will be deleted or frozen if you are caught
spamming so just dont do it. There is a general rule that only one
person per household may have an account with a particulatr GPT
website. Do not refer your immediate family members that live with
you. You can share accounts but if you are caught with more than
one account per household, you could lose all your accounts and
all the money you have accumulated to that point. Check out your
sites for referral tips. They almost always have free banners and
other media for you to use. Myspace or similar webpages are a good
way to get the word out. There are banner exchanges on the internet.
You can order business cards, print flyers, word of mouth. Just
about anything. A great way to earn referrals is by showing people
your check.
Shopping
The second way is by shopping online. When you do your shopping
online always check if your GPT site has a link to the merchant
first (if they offer online shopping). By clicking that link instead
of going directly to the site you can earn up to 50% of your money
back. That combined with a rewards type of credit card and you just
earned yourself a pretty hefty discount.
Contests and Other fun stuff
Most every GPT site I have been too has some sort of Monthly contest happening. They can be based on earnings, referrals or just random things. These are a great way to boost your paycheck.
How do you get paid?
Most GPT sites use one of two methods. Either they send you a check
by mail once a month or you can opt for Paypal payments. Many do
not use Paypal anymore because I have heard it is against Paypals
TOS. Any offers completed before the end of the month, will be paid
to you the following month. For example today is May 20, 2007, anything
I completed between April 1 and April 30th I will receive a check
for anyday. For me, that was over $700 in just one month and that
was only from one website.
Some websites claim a lower payout amount and no waiting period.
Generally there is some form of verification, by phone or other
method, you must complete in order to be paid immediately.
Other sites may use points which can be redeemed for cash and/or
prizes on their website. These are perfectly legitimate as well.
I personally prefer the money in my hand as opposed to an Xbox 360
or Ipod. There are also sites which have both systems. You earn
money but also earn points or some other form of it and the money
is paid to you and you can also cash in the points or other tender
for prizes such as gift cards to merchants or a visa gift card,
an Xbox 360, Apple IPod, Sony PSP, Digital Cameras and tons more.
There will likely be ongoing contests on your GPT sites, make sure
you check those out as well for additional bonuses.
