My Siblings are Here  3-18-2001
I have 2 sisters for sure, because two of them are calicos.  My human momma named the one Cassie already.  Cassie is mainly black with a little tan on her face and ear and on her feet.  The first born and biggest is a black and grey calico with just a little tan here and there.  One appears to be grey, and the last one is black with a white spot on it's chest just like Mama Laurel.  Don't know if the last two are boys or girls yet.  Here are some pictures of my new family.
Starting top left, the calico one, the grey one, Cassie, and the black one that looks like momma Laurel.
As my siblings grow, I will add more photos for you to see.  But for now, I think I will go to bed.  Nite!
After only ten days, look at how BIG those babies have grown.  Dusty had her babies too.  One of the little guys died.  She had 5 altogether.  One is tan and white, one is black, two are dark calicos and the one that didn't make it was a brown striped tiger cat.
Little Cali was adopted Easter Sunday.  My oldest son was looking for a playmate for his cat Buddy, and since Buddy is getting up in years, there would still be a cat in the house when Buddy went to cat heaven.  Well, before the week was over, Cali, died from the illness, Feline Herpes.  She was not sick at all.  It hit so fast.  Her eyes swelled up and one of them was destroyed.  She was taken to the vet, given fluids, antibiotics an eye ointment.  She was dead in 2 days.  We were all devastated.  If you are interested in helping kitties (with Feline Herpes) please visit my animal rescue site. Thank you.  Cali's sister, the fluffy grey one, is holding her own.  She is very delicate, eyes are getting better, but she is so frail.  My daughter adopted her (if she lives)  This is such a horrible disease that these cats have.  If you can help them, please do.
I just noticed that Laurel's babies were born 10 weeks ago.  Cali is gone, the little grey one is still very frail and the two black ones are plague with eye problems and upper respiratory problems.  They eat good, and the two black ones are getting quite large.  They play all day long with their toys and each other.  Some of the other litters are getting large but there is one litter that is very tiny yet and then of course there is 6 week old Angel.
