Superhuman Abilities: Dreamer holds the ability to manipulate an unknown extra-dimensional energy with his subconcious mind. By covering his body in this glowing red energy he is able to achieve extreme durability and enhance the physical state of his body, granting class 5 super strength. He can manipulate this energy to fly, and by partially shifting this energy back to the dimension from which it is drawn he is also able to achieve intangibility. By transferring this energy onto small inanimate objects he is able to form makeshift weapons, though they revert to their normal state once they are out of his hands....The catch is, Dreamer must be asleep or unconcious for his subconcious mind to be able to manipulate this energy, and can only actively use his power as long as he remains asleep.

Background: Jake's mutation manifested at age 14 while he slept. The glowing red energy he manipulates coated his body and he rose from the bed, going intangible and flying through his outside wall to soar through the night air. Having been a fan of cheesey comic books since he was a young boy, and following the real super powered hero culture closely the first thing his mind did was look for crime to fight....He managed to thwart a mugging that night before returning home to awaken in the morning. He had watched the past nights event as if in a dream, unable to control his actions himself he was unsure it had even happened at all, but night after night the same thing happened, he would rise from his bed after falling asleep to thwart minor crimes about the city....his unleashed subconcious usually punishing criminals to extremes and leaving their bloodied crippled bodies for police to collect. By 16 he had begun keeping himself sedated through pharmaceutical means, so he could more easily access his abilities.
