I remember a night in Cabo San Lucas with a full moon, an excellent meal overlooking the sea, a beautiful bordeaux, and a fine cigar.  This may have been the genesis of this journey.

The pages that you will discover here are a part of my journey that began in Botetort County Virginia in a search to learn more about wine -- grape growing and wine production.

I have explored and enjoyed the history.
