| Franklin Family Photos |
| This picture of Henry Franklin (c.1910-1917) was found in the Salvation Army Archives in Wellington, New Zealand. He was Corps Sergeant Major at lower Hutt for a time and then moved to Sydenham in Christchurch. His parents were thought to be Salvationists in Leeston and Kaiapoi. His second wife Isabella was an officer in the S.A in Monkwearmouth Shore, Sunderland Co Durham prior to her emmigrating to New Zealand around the turn of the century. (1900's). |

| Joan Isabella Franklin, daughter of Henry and Isabella. This photo was taken in 1950 and was generously passed on to me from her son Phil Penter. UPDATE: Information from documents and personal contacts suggest that Joan may have been adopted by Henry and Isabella in 1927. There is speculation about who her parents are, but until I can find positive proof I can add no more at this time. |
