A Poem
School
In School were trapped,
We are put in a cage.
Were trapped in these buildings,
For what seems like an age.
We work and toil,
For things we'll never use.
The teachers don't listen,
When they do its too late.
Why should any person,
Have to face this terrible Fate?
Theres bullies and fights,
Behind the teachers' backs.
But if you point it out,
They always fail to act.
It is Like a prison,
Inside these cold stone walls,
And its a hope that all kids share,
That one day they will fall.
For then we would be free,
Like a bird up in the sky.
Carefree and happy until the day we die.
Free to live your life,
Under the bright shinning sun.
For now I sit within these walls,
Waiting for some kind of end,
For here there is no fun.
