Chapter 8: Faster then a speeding bullet, no not him, but.... by RJ Not Earth, but Gaea "So Benald did you get inside her mind?" Asked Vigor. His voiced echoed off the walls in the huge room. You could hear footsteps on the beautifully crafted marble floor. Two of the walls portrayed portraits and landscapes. The other two hung huge tapestries. Benald turned around to Vigor and found Sparka right behind. "Yes sire, she has brought together a group of fighters in hopes to beat us." Vigor laughed. "This will prove quite amusing ." "Don’t forget dear brother that she has avoided and prevented you from the Head Piece time and time again." "Be still that quick tongue, Qué Beck! You may be extremely fast but I still can kick your ass from here to next Tuesday!" Vigor snapped back at his brother. Qué Beck was a young man of seventeen. He walked in unnoticed. He had short brown hair, brown eyes, and a cocky smile. He could be good looking if he kept his mouth shut half the time. He wore a black gi with a blue strip on the side of his legs, and blue on the neckline. "My, my aren’t we touchy. Clam down bro. So what if she gathered together a few fighters, with me on your side there’s no way you could lose." "It’s that egotistically attitude that will get you killed Qué Beck." Sparka replied. "Who are you to say such things, slut." He snapped back. "SLUT! I’ll show you!" With that she raised her arms and clapped her hands together. A bolt of electricity flowed from her fingers towards Qué Beck. With a movement hard for the human eye to detect, he dodged the shot and ended up behind Sparka within a blink of a eye. "Please, electricity may be fast, but I’m faster." "Grrr! I hate you! Die!." Boom! Bamn! Boom! Sparka kept shooting electricity at him. "PLEASE you two!" Vigor growled. "You’re ruining the furniture!" "Woah, that was a light workout. Thanks Sparka dear." "Why you!" she started to run the light blue sparks through her system. "Sparka! Please, he is not worth the loss of energy." Vigor said. "Continue Benald." "When I entered her mind, which I might say was quite difficult. I saw some of the fighters she gathered. So instead of waiting for them to fight us, I decided to deal with them there. Using her own powers against them, it would of been hard for them to fight her. However, she found a way to push me out of her mind. I am very impressed." "Did you manage to get rid of any of them." "No, but almost." "Almost only counts in horseshoes Benald. What I want to know is how she came across these fighter." "Someone named Jacob told her, but that is all I could get. It was like she blocked it from me." "That’s strange, almost as if she knew to kept it secret ." Said Sparka. "Yes..s, very interesting." Vigor replied, stroking his chin. "Well did ya get any dirt on this fools who are going to try to fight us? Huh Benald?" Asked Qué Beck. "A little info. Such as, she has a lot of confidence in this Ranma fellow. From what I could get he is a very fast and strong opponent. Then there is this guy Ryoga. It seems he is very strong, maybe as strong as the guy Ranma." "Yeah whatever." Qué Beck said without any concern. "Uhhum….there is another guy named Mousse. He uses weapons, but she didn’t say which ones. "Hey doesn’t she have any girl fighters?" inquired Sparka. "I was just getting to that. There are three. One is named Shampoo. I think she is the strongest among the girls. Then a cook named Ukyou and finally a girl named Akane." "The question is there a slight chance they could ruin my plans Benald?" "I don’t think so sire, but you never know." Yeah bro, I mean look what she did to your face when you first fought her. Ruined that lovely complexion of yours." Qué Beck said mockingly. "Shut your mouth!" Vigor yelled, then a bright blue beam shot from his hand right into Qué Beck’s chest. Shooting him back 20 feet and hitting the wall. Uhoooooo… Qué Beck moaned grabbing his chest, leaned over in pain. "How uncivilized." He said under his breath. "Ha! I bet that felt good." Sparka cheerfully said. Three months and three days earlier Kayko was laughing and having good time with two of her friends. They sat in a local coffee shop, enjoying a day of gossiping and shopping. "So how was China, Kayko?" asked one of her friends "Oh it was great. Don’t you like the outfit I brought over there." "Yeah, purple is definitely your color." "I can’t believe the people your staying with took you with them when they went over there." "Oh Pun and Jacob are great. They took me to France and Italy also." "Ohhh your so lucky. I bet there are a lot of hotties there." Said Kim, one of her friends. Kayko just smiled. "You know Kayko, you’re are the only one I know who could pull off wearing that jewel on your forehead." "Why, don’t you think it makes me look exotic." "You know what I mean. Not many people wear jewels on their foreheads. In America at least." "Do you miss Japan at all?" Her other friend asked. "Sometimes….when it’s to noisy here, I wish I was with Lorna. But the rest of the time, I enjoy new places, learning new things." "Yeah we can see that." "Yeah, nerd." Her friend said laughing. They all joined in on the laughing. As they were laughing a black dog, a gray cat, and a small white bird wondered into the coffee shop in a perfect line. One of Kayko’s friends stopped laughing and notice the three animals. "Now isn’t that strange." She said. "What is?" Asked the other friend. "Those animals. Here kitty, kitty, kitty." She said as she started to reach down to pet the cat. But Kayko stopped her, by grabbing her arm. "No don’t" "Why? It’s just a cat." "I have a bad feeling about it." "Your crazy." "Meow, meowww she’s right. Hissss!" Everyone who heard the cat just stared at it. "Did that thing just speak." She asked. "Woof, this one most be a real genius." Said the dog. "Tweet, tweet, just give us the Head Piece and we won’t hurt you. Tweet." "Excuse me?" Kayko asked. "You heard the bird, give it up!" Hissed the gray cat. "I don’t think so. Go find a car and get run over." "Tisk, tisk now we are going to have to hurt you." barked the dog. They attacked jumping towards Kayko. People started to scream and run away, some were jumping on to tables. The cat lunged for her, but she smacked it away into a wall. The white bird was flying around her, like an annoying insect. The dog barking and showing it’s teeth. Another swat and the bird went down. The dogs teeth were huge, and it was growing. She didn’t dare get to close. So using her powers she telepathicly closed his month and then went over and knocked him unconscious. Kayko looked around and couldn’t find her friends. "They must be outside." She said to herself. Walking outside she found them. "What the hell just happened." Kim asked. "I don’t know." Kayko replied. "But…" A man started to walk toward them. He was tall and had a handsome face. The top part of his hair was pure white, the bottom half was black as the ace of spades. His blue eyes stared at Kayko as he walked closer. His dark cape flowed behind him. In his right hand he carried a gold staff with green ball sitting on top. "Please allow me to introduce myself, I am Vigor heir to the Onex Kingdom and you have something I need." He said in a deep voice, pointing to her Head Piece. "What? Are kidding? Lorna gave me this. And you can’t have it." "I assure you I’m not kidding. Hand it over or I’ll have to mangle that pretty little face of yours." "I will not! You just try and take it!" "Very well a fight then." "Kayko what’s going on?" asked her friend. Kayko took a ready position "I don’t know, just you and Kim find a safe place away from here." "But?" "Do it!" She and Kim ran away, looking back once. Within seconds Vigor was attacking. Hands and kicks were block, but a some were getting through. He used the staff as a weapon also, which was a powerful hit. He was to strong for her. She was a good fighter but never been tested so hard. She was getting in a few hits, but they weren’t nearly as strong as his. He was driving her backwards. Soon she was against the wall. No where to go. She was panicking. "What should I do?" she thought. She was pinned now. He was close to her face. He held one of her hand with his free hand near her face against the wall. His body to close for her to kick him away. He brought in his face as if he was going to kiss her. "Thank you very much for the workout, but I think I’ll take my prize." He said in a low voice, for only her to hear. He placed the Staff underneath his armpit to hold it while he went to grab the Head Piece. "NOOO!!" Kayko yelled. She gathered a ball of chi energy in her hand he held and focused it to his face. With a bright light, Vigor yelled in extreme pain, grabbing his eye, letting go her. "YOU BITCH!" It was enough for her to push him away. She panicked and jumped over the fence and ran away home. "AHHHH!!" He continue to yell. The three once unconscious animals all woke up and walked outside to see Vigor hunched over in pain. "What happened boss?" asked the dog. "That bitch got me with some kind of energy ball." "Where did she go?" asked the cat. "Over the fence, she ran away. "How bad is your eye?" asked the bird. He removed his hand and saw the reactions of the three shifters. He walked over to the store window to see himself. His refection didn’t lie. Around his eye was a star bust like burn. He touched to make sure it was real, and it was. "GRRRAHHH!!" He screamed smashing the window into a thousand pieces. "Can you see out of it?" the dog asked. "Yes, thank the gods. That bitch will pay for this." Kayko ran home, but she made sure she wasn’t being followed. Who was this guy, and why did he want my jewel, she thought to herself." She reached Jacob and Pun’s house. As she walked up the sidewalk a man walked out of the front door wearing a plumbing uniform. She walked by him into the house, but she didn’t see a truck or car outside on the street or the driveway. She turned around to see the man, but when she looked outside he was longer there. "Huh? That’s odd." She walked into the house calling "Jacob! Pun! Where are you guys." "We’re in here." Pun sang out from the living room. She walked into the room and Jacob stared at her for a second. "What happened to you, it looks like you’ve been in a fight." "I was in a fight. Some guy named Vigor attacked me, tried to steal my jewel Lorna gave me. I wish I knew why." "Sit down dear we have something to tell you." Pun said. Present, back at Vigor’s castle "Well, are we all ready to get what we want." Vigor said. "Yes my darling, let’s get this fight over with, I have a hair appointed." Sparka replied. "All the shifters here?" "Yes, all four." Xerox said. "Then let us go." Vigor raised his hand with the Staff straight out. Tapped it on the ground and spoke the nessary words "With the power of Gaea, open." The vortex opened and one by one they entered. Japan, Earth. A hole opened up in the middle of sky. A group descended from it, the last being a man with a staff. The hole closed behind them. "We’re here…" Vigor sang.
