Dark Fires
by RJ

It was a quite afternoon walking home from school. Akane noted that Ranma hadn’t
made one remark to her all day. Even now he walked on the fence with his hands
behind his back, not really paying attention to anybody. There was even an old women
giving out free cookies, but Ranma just past by. Akane stopped.
"Okay what is wrong with you?" She asked.
No answer.
"Hello! Ranma?"
"Huh?"
"Did you hear me?"
"Umm sure that dress looks fine on you?"
"What? That’s not what I asked you." She said placing her hands on her hips.
"Ranma look at me."
"Huh?"
"Ranma!"
He stopped and cocked his head. "What?"
A tear drop appeared on the back of Akane’s head. "What is wrong with you?"
"Ummm….." He jumped down from the fence.
"Well?" She asked
"Well, it’s been weird all day. I have this feeling that someone is following me. Also I
got this in the mail today." He pulled out a folded up letter and handed it to Akane.
"Who’s it from?" She asked as she took it.
"It’s from Kayko."
"Kayko really? I haven’t heard from her in over a year, why did she write a letter instead
of visiting."
"Well she couldn’t. It basically says that she would like to visit, but putting together her
broken kingdom has taken longer then expected. She talks about how Lee and
Incendia are fine. They are still helping her to know the area. And she also says that the
war that Vigor started hasn’t died out yet. There are still many followers that are still
fighting. She wanted to visit when I turned 18 but she couldn’t. She wants to be here
for our graduation though.."
"Wow, you would think that after that ordeal she wouldn’t have to worry about Vigor
anymore."
"Yeah, I guess."
"But how does this have to do with the way you are acting?"
"It doesn’t, it’s just odd getting a letter from her."
Akane released a sigh. "So you think somebody’s following you?"
"Well kinda."
"I swear Ranma you are so paranoid."
"I am not paranoid, just cautious! If you had people trying to kill you half the time you
 would be to!"
"Oh please!"
"HA! What would an uncute tomboy like you know anything!"
"I am NOT an UNCUTE TOMBOY!" Akane yelled whipping out her oversized mallet
and smashing him into the sky.

	The next day at school

During lunch on a nice day most of the students ate outside. Of course Ranma,
Akane, and all their friends did too. Furinkan High has become less noisy since Kuno
had graduated. No more declaring his love for Akane and the Pig tail girl, or challenging
Ranma to a fight to the death. But don’t think that there were no fights, Ryoga and
Mousse , or some other fighter were always there to challenged Ranma. Either way it
wasn’t boring in Nerima. However, on that particular day Ranma again was strangely
quite. Akane walked up to him and sat down at the lunch table.
"Are you still getting that feeling?"
"Yes. I swear someone is watching me." Ranma scanned the school yard. He looked
over the gossiping girls and the lunch swapping. He couldn’t locate where this feeling
was coming from. He kept looking when he notice a group of guys talking. One of them
wasn’t in the conversation, but watching him. When he saw that Ranma was looking
at him he quickly ducked into the group, trying to cover his face.
"Hmmm?" Ranma questioned.
"What is it?" Akane asked.
"That kid, over there, who is he?"
"I don’t know I never seen him before. Hey Yuka?" Akane called out to her friend,
 waving her to come over.
"Yeah Akane?"
"Do you know who that kid is over there?" Akane said pointing the poorly hidden boy.
"No. Why?"
"Well it seems as if he has been watching Ranma."
"Huh? That’s funny." She said.
"What’s funny?" Akane asked.
"Well some new girl came up to me the other day asking stuff about Ranma."
"What did you tell her?" Ranma asked.
"Just that you have four fiancee’s and that you are great martial artist."
"A course I am, Thanks. But who was the girl?"
"Umm I think she said her name was Yori. She’s standing over there with Mina and the
others." Yuka motioned to a group of gossiping girls. Ranma saw that she wasn’t in the
conversation either, but looking at him. Ranma looked back to where the guy was and
 he to was staring again.
"Okay that’s it." Ranma said standing up and started to head towards the guy.

"So she tells me I am the best kisser yet." One boy told the others.
" NO WAY! Sumi told me the same thing." Another guy replied.
"Hey Ranma. What’s up?" Hiroshi, Ranma’s friend, asked.

Ranma didn’t answer but walked up the guy who has been watching him.
"Okay buddy what the hell is going on?" He asked the guy who was watching him.
Ranma sized the guy up. He was about the same height with dark hair and dark brown
eyes. From what Ranma could tell he had a fighters build. He wore basic blue uniform
pants and white shirt.
The boy said nothing, just stared at him.
"Well!" Ranma yelled, turning the heads of the school yard.
Still no answer.
"Hey maybe he’s in love with you Ranma!" Someone yelled with a giggle from a the
background.
"Hey shut up!" Ranma yelled to the peanut gallery.
"Hey are you going to answer me?"
"I am Kin. I would like to challenge you in a fight." He said sternly.
"A fight well then sure, haven’t had one in a while." Ranma said with a cocky smile,
knowing he just had one the day before with Mousse.
"KIN NO!" Yelled the girl Yori, who Yuka pointed out earlier.
She ran up the Kin. "Are you crazy?"
"Stay out of this Yori."
"I will not! You know that you are…hey let go of me." Kin grab her arm and brought her
over the side and spoke low so no one would hear.
"Hey this is my chance to beat him."
"You and your stupid pride."
"I know what are mission is, but I just want to try. Please." He pleaded.
"Fine, but I will not carry you home if you are beaten to a pulp."
"You’re the best Ori-chan."
"I know and don’t call me that, I’m not a little kid anymore."
Kin smiled and looked up, his pleasant smile turned to a cocky one just like Ranma’s.
"All right Ranma Saotome prepare to meet your match." Kin said proudly
"Yeah, yeah, how many times have I heard THAT one."

The school yard cleared and formed a wide oval to allow the two martial artist room
to fight. Somewhere in the distance someone was placing bets. Ranma could of swore
it was Nabiki, but that was impossible since she was living at the University now.
Both of them took fighting stances, which were both loose.
"So what school are you from?" Ranma yelled out.
"That is for me to know and you to find out." Kin yelled back.
Ranma rolled his eyes, but that was just enough for Kin to attack. He came at Ranma
with a quick flying kick. Ranma was nearly hit, but he dodged just in time. A series of
punches followed, aimed for every possible spot on his body ,but Ranma blocked and
counter attacked.
"Wow! Look at them go. It’s like watching a Dragon Ball Z episode." Someone
 commented.
Quick blows and faster kicks were exchanged. Ranma noted how fast this guy was.
He has come up against some quick opponents, some faster them him, but he was always
able to out smart them. Not until Kin performed a move, did Ranma figure out that he
was using the Anything Goes style martial arts. But where did this guy learn it from. Did
Happosai teach him? A possibility, but no it was to much like his style. More free then
the one Happosai taught. Kin then performed another move which threw Ranma off.
In a single motion Kin did a combination move that when done right the opponent is
bombarded with kicks and punches hitting the almost every vital spots on the body.
A combination which Ranma was trying to prefect. Ranma dodged and blocked but how
could this guy know these moves. Only he and Genma had knowledge of it. It was
something they were working on together. Unless Genma was teaching on the side.
 However, Ranma highly doubted that.

"That’s it I’m tired of this!" Ranma yelled. He gathered himself and nailed Kin in the face!
This made Kin woozy and step back from the fight to gather his consciousness. This
gave Ranma the time needed to use the Chestnuts on an Open Fire Punch, he yelled
loudly "Kachu Tenshin Amaguriken!" An array of punches pounded into Kin’s stomach
knocking him back to ground, but Kin started to get up Ranma then decided to end
this fight. This guy was strong and fast, he needed to knock him out.
"Kachu Tenshin Amaguriken!" was yelled by Ranma. Yori, the girl Kin was talking to
before, yelled from the side lines "PAPA NO!"
Her hand quickly went over her mouth as Ranma looked at her with shocked eyes.
Ranma stopped his attacked and looked at the girl. A huge tear drop formed on Kin’s
head as he brought his hand to his face.
"Yori you MORON!"
"I AM NOT!" She yelled walking over to Kin.
"Can’t you keep you big mouth shut for once." He said brushing the dust off of him..
"Whatever! There is no way you could of handled that attacked again."
"How the hell would you know!"
"Because I know your limits. The Phsyconic*¹ Storm takes a lot out of you." The dark
hair girl said pointing a finger at Kin.

The two kept yelling at each other as Ranma just stood there with the same shocked
expression. "Papa no?" He kept saying. "Papa no?" He shook his head and yelled,
"What that hell just happened!" Kin and Yori looked at Ranma and then each other.
"Well we will have to tell him now, no thanks to you." Kin said to Yori
"Oh shut up." She snickered.
Both of them walked up to Ranma who was accompanied by Akane, Daisuke,
Hiroshi and some others. Kin stood tall with Yori by his side. He took a deep breath
and said,
"As you know I am Kin and this Yori, my sister. Umm….uh…"
"Well?" Akane asked..
Kin placed his hand on his neck and look up, so much like Ranma does. Yori looked
away.
"For goodness sake do I have to do everything?" A female yelled from behind the crowd.
A young girl with a sun-hat walked up to the group. She had piercing blue eyes, a
beautiful face and body to match.
"Kit, we didn’t know you were here." Yori nervously said to the girl.
In one motion she removed her hat letting her hair fall. It was long and blond with
a few streaks of green hue. Two small braids fell on her face in front of her ears.
Ranma looked at her strangely, "Kayko?"
She smiled, "No not Kayko but her daughter, I am Kitama." She bowed slightly.
"But that can’t be, we just heard from her. There is now way you could be her daughter."

"Ahh, just like that these two are not your children, Uncle Ranma."
"What?" Ranma said.
Kin and Yori smiled as Ranma fainted in front of them.

Ranma opened his eyes and saw Akane. "Wow Akane I had one strange
dream!"
"Save it Ranma it wasn’t a dream." Akane said looking at the three guest. Ranma sat
up and looked over at them. He stared at Kitama and was amazed that she looked so
much like Kayko. "Maybe this is still a dream, maybe she is just a sister or something?
This can’t be happening." Ranma thought. Kitama smiled and motioned to Kin and Yori.
Ranma never really looked at her but she reminded him of his female form, with the
exception that she had black hair.
"Ah man what the hell is going on?" Ranma asked aloud.
"Okay Uncle Ranma, let me explain." Kitama sat down in next to the bed and next to
Akane.
"I know this is difficult, but please listen carefully. I am Kitama, Kit for short. My mother
married Prince Lee of Elementria and they had me. These two over here", she looked
over her shoulder with her hand pointing towards them, "are your children from the future
Kin and Yori. We have been sent back to this time by my mother, because the future
has been changed. Sometime within the next two weeks you are murdered. We have an
idea how you were killed, and by who, but we were only able to pin point within a two
 week time span."

"Wait, hold on for a second. How can his children be sent back if he is killed, unless
they are already conceived before he is supposedly kil…led.. RANMA YOU PERVERT!"
Akane yelled bashing him on the head.
"Now wait a minute! I haven’t done anything….have I?" Ranma said with a confused
 look on his face.
"How could you not know!" Akane yelled.
"I just don’t!" He yelled back.
"Okay, please, that’s not the concern right now." Kit interrupted by stepping in between
the two. "This is more important. Ranma if you are killed then you won’t be able to help
my mother again and all hell will break loose."
"What do you mean, again?" He asked.
"If the time line goes the way it suppose to, there will be a time when my mother and
father will need your help desperately. If you are not there to fulfill it then the entire
planet of Gaea will be doomed."
"Whoa, this is a lot to take in." he said holding his head with his left hand. He looked
up and stared at Kin and Yori.
"You don’t happen to know who your mother is?" Ranma asked them.
But Kin and Yori looked turned their eyes away from him.
"Well?" Akane said anxiously, wanting to know who their mother is.
Yori looked up and said, "We don’t know."
"What do you mean you don’t know?" Ranma asked.
"What my twin sister means is that we can’t remember." Kin replied.
"Huh?" Akane and Ranma said.
"And they won’t remember, My mother had all memories removed which involved their
mother. This way to insure the future works out the way it should." Kit said.
"Do you know?" Akane asked looking into Kit’s deep blue eyes.
"No. It is for the best that nobody knows. Come on let’s get back to the dojo it will be
better to talk there." Kit said dragging Ranma out by the arm.

As they left the nurse’s office and walked through the halls of Furinkan High,
people were turning around and gossiping.
"You know for once I would like the gossip to be about someone else for a change."
Ranma said as he watched the stares. Kin and Yori just kept silent as they walked with
 their young father.
"Well you fight pretty well. Who trained you?" Ranma asked Kin
"You did." He replied.
"How is that possible if I die?"
"Well," Kit said. "you see there are different time lines. The one where you live, marry,
raise children and help my mother. We'll call it timeline A. Then there is the other one
where you are killed, timeline B. Since your murderer existed in timeline A and then went
back in time to kill you, the time stream is acting like a stack of dominoes. The first falls
knocking down the next, and the next, till they all fall down. Kin, Yori and myself are
from timeline A. We were sent back in time to protect you before the time line caught up
 with us.
"But how did you know that I was killed. If the timeline change, wouldn’t you change
also." Ranma asked.
"Well yes, but my mother, felt something wrong and decided to do a quick visit here in
this dimension. Since she does live outside of time ever since she received The Triune
Power, the change is timelines don't effect her as quickly.

17 years into the future, Planet Gaea, dimension 7T.

In the grand study a roaring fire warmed the air. Four huge beautiful landscape
paintings hung on the wall intriguing the viewer to walk into them. Above the fireplace
hung a Royal family portrait of King Lee Quad, Queen Kayko and Princess Kitama, decked
out in there finest. Lee was still very handsome at age 35. His dark blue hair was cut
neatly, with his deep blue eyes staring out of the painting. Kayko at age 34 standing to
the right of Lee, is just as beautiful, if not more, the day she married him. Her hair was
now long, worn in a braid, that fell past her waist. The two long braids that hung in front
of her ears were gone. Now there were longs strands of hairs. The Head-Piece no
longer rested on her forehead, as it did when she was younger, now it was converted
into a crown that she wore on the top of her head. The Staff of Trivigia in her left hand
was planted firmly on the ground. Through the years she managed to not only use the
true powers, but if need be, the staff turned into a powerful weapon.
Standing in front of Lee but slightly to his left, Kitama, their daughter. At 17 she was
beautiful. With long blond hair, a few streaks of green, and two short, thin braids hanging
in front of her ears, she was a spiting image of Kayko at that age.
Soft music played in the background as Kayko wrote in her journal and as Lee read through
his papers. Although it seemed to be peaceful and quite within the home, It was not.
Beyond the Kingdom of Elementria a war waged on. Followers of the defeated Vigor,
Onxiets, still threatened the world of Gaea. True, they have diminished in numbers over
the years and aren’t as powerful, but they still caused trouble. Mostly comprised of thieves,
murders and anarchists, they attacked weaker kingdoms, plumaged villagers and destroyed
hope. One reason why they haven’t caused much damage to Elementria is because
the entire kingdom, including the forest by the boarders is encased a telekinetic
force-field provided by Kayko.
Orphaned at four on the planet earth Kayko’s powers, like all Extrodinaries, began to
grow. Yes, by herself Kayko had great powers, even for someone so young ².
However, combine her Royal powers with two more royal Telepaths, not to mention the
small gift of the goddess Gaea’s own self, provided Kayko with enormous powers ³.
Kayko looked up at the portrait and smiled. She remembered that day clearly. Kit put up
such a fight when she was told to wear a dress. "Awh Mom do I have to?"
"Yes, It’s for one day."
"But Yori never wears dresses."
"What are you five or sixteen? It’s one Royal ball, you can survive that long."
"Can’t I go out and spar with everyone else?"
Kayko looked at her daughter and sighed, "Okay for one hour, but I want you back here
and dressed when we start the ball."
Kit smiled and kissed her mom on the cheek, "Thanks Mom!" She ran out of the room.
"Where is she going in such a hurry?" Lee asked as he walked up behind his Queen.
Kayko turned around and smiled. "Between you and Ranma how am I supposed to raise
 a proper lady?"
"Ah now there lies a challenge." He said with a laugh.
Kit had two trainers if you think about it. Her father, Lee, helps her train with her
powers. Lee is a powerful fighter, he has always been, but he fights through the use of
his water power. Her other trainer, Ranma, has taught her well. When watching Kit, Kin,
and Yori, it’s like they are performing a dance of sorts.
"Well if you want she can be tutored here like before." Lee interrupted Kayko’s thought.
"No, I rather her attend Furinkan High on Earth. It’s better socially, better for her self esteem.
"Okay you’re the boss." He smiled and hugged his wife from behind. "How did I manage
to get such a smart and beautiful wife?"
"Just lucky I guess." She said turning around and kissing him.

Lee looked up from the papers he read. Kayko stare at the portrait as Lee
asked, "Where are the kids?"
"I don’t know where Kin and Yori are, I lost them after I brought them back this morning.
It will be nice to have them here for the vacation." Kayko said to Lee.
"Kit came back just in time. I think she would of killed herself if she didn’t get a chance
 to say good-bye to Janja."
"Yes, she is with her now."

"Excuse me sire, but she is asking for you." A servant said walking into the room.

Lee and Kayko knocked on the solid oak door. A faint "Come in," was said.
They walked in and saw Janja laying on her bed, slightly sitting up from all the pillows
and Kit sitting in the chair next to the bed. Janja smiled faintly. "Hey there stranger."
"Hey yourself? So what have you two been talking about?" Kayko asked walking up
to her longtime friend.
"Oh nothing much, just remembering some good times." She said with a weak smile.
"Please sit next to me." Kayko motioned for Kit to move so she could sit close to Janja.
"Ah how you have grown. It seems like yesterday that you were ditching classes and
stealing away a young prince to go exploring." She said glancing up at Lee.
"Hey, I didn’t have to steal him away, he came willingly." He laughed softly.
"You have grown up wonderfully. You have mastered The Triune Power, all the power
or your family and given birth to a beautiful child. I am so proud of you. but her smile
faded as a frown appeared. "Queen Kayko, my friend, listen carefully. I have been
receiving visions. They aren’t good ones. Have you been feeling something wrong,
 something that didn’t seem right?
"Yes, strange feelings every since this morning. What is wrong?"
Janja picked up her orb, that is always by her side, and held it. She then took Kayko’s
hand and placed it top and rested her hand on top of hers.
"Open your mind to me, let me share the visions."
Kayko closed her eyes a flood of images erupted in her mind. She saw disaster, pain,
suffering, but not just images of the future, images of the past and present. Tears began
to escape from her eyes. Kayko looked at Janja. They were telepathically link now so
she asked in her mind, "How does this happens?"
"Hecate, she escaped from the moon. She has corrupted one of your very own. With
the use of the travel stone she has gone back and……"
"Janja?" Kayko asked.
"…..gone…..killed…..important for the future…she feeds the fire…..making it burn…"
"Janja your not making any sense."
"Kayko…..my…friend….you are a good leader, take what you have learned and pass it on….
.My knowledge will pass on to the next chosen oracle, they will come to you in time…..
Good-bye my friends" Janja said, letting everyone in the room to hear. Her hand that
held Kayko’s hand fell limp, her eyes closed and Janja drifted off to eternal sleep. Her
orb floated upwards and faded away. Kayko, Lee and Kit hugged and mourned the
passing of a great friend and teacher.

Later that evening Kayko sat in the study with her hand on her head. Lee had been
there to comfort her, but it wasn’t helping.
"I knew this was coming, but to have her gone…I mean she was like a second mother to
me." Lee said softly.
"Lee I know you loved Janja, I did too, but her death doesn’t concern me. She was a
good person and has been sent to Trigevia *4*. What does concern me is what she
showed me. Something has happen in the past, it is effecting things of the present."
"Do you know what?"

"No, I don’t, not yet."
"Sorry to interrupt you Auntie but do you know where Kit went?" Yori asked Kayko
walking into the study. Kin followed her giving a small wave to his adopted Aunt and
Uncle.
"No I don’t, but please sit down. I haven’t been able to talk to you since this morning."
Kin and Yori sat in two leather chair that were opposite from Kayko and Lee. Kayko
smiled, "So how is your father? Traveling around much? Going on training trips with
you both?"
Kin and Yori face showed much confusion. They looked at each other and then at Lee,
 who was equally confused.
"Auntie, we never met our father, he died before we wore born. You know that." Kin
said.
Kayko’s smile faded to a confused looked. "That’s impossible I just saw him this morning,
before I picked you up." She looked at the twins and then at Lee. He had a look of
concern in his eyes.
"Dear, I think Janja’s death was to much for you why don’t you go lay down." Lee said.
"What? I’m not crazy, I just saw him, we didn’t get a chance to talk long. Stop looking
at me like that."
"Come on honey, why don’t you go take a nap."
"No, I will get to the bottom of this." Kayko got up from her chair and picked up her Staff
of Triviga. She tapped the it against the floor, a portal opened up and she walked through.
"She has taken Janja’s death more seriously then I thought. Sorry about that kids." Lee
said to Kin and Yori.
"It’s okay Uncle." Yori said hugging Lee.

A portal opened up and Kayko walked out. She was outside the Tendo Dojo.
Kayko went to the front door and rang the bell. The door opened and Kasumi smiled.
"Why hello Kayko."
"Kasumi, I have to see Ranma."
"Oh of course, he’s right out back."
"Thank you Kasumi."
Kasumi let Kayko walk by. "I knew it, he isn’t dead. They were messing with
me." Kayko thought as she walked through the house. Kasumi passed Kayko. Kayko
notice how young she still looked, even though she and Dr. Tofu were raising six kids.
She glanced around at how the house hasn’t change much. She walked through, did I
quick wave and smile to Soun. Then walked to the back yard. She looked around and
 didn’t see Ranma.
 "Where is he?" she questioned.
"I don’t hear him practicing? Ranma?" she looked around. Then she noticed a stone
marker near the dojo with flowers on it. " Hmmm?" she said as she walked towards it.
As Kayko got closer she read the inscription. "In loving memory to Ranma Saotome, may
his spirit watch over us." Kayko read.
"No." She turned her head down and tears began to form in her eyes.
"What the hell happened. Maybe Kasumi can tell me." Kayko turned around and called
to Kasumi, but received no answer. She tried again, but nothing from her.
"She went out to the market." Soun said walking out into the yard.
"Mr. Tendo can you tell me when did Ranma die?"
"Oh he passed away…..17 years ago!" He began to cry.
"How?"
"Wahhhhh!!!! OH…..RANMA…." He kept sobbing.
"Mr. Tendo?"
"Wahhhhhh!"
Kayko sighed, "I need answers. I’ll try somewhere else."

Kayko formed a portal and walked through it. The next place she ended up was
outside Ucchan’s. Kayko released a sigh, "Well maybe I can get some answers here."

Ukyou smiled as she watched her daughter, Pepper, work the customers.
She flirted with the boys, was polite to the elders and complimented the women. She
definitely knew how to get the most out of a tip.
"One deluxe." She said ripping a piece of paper from her pad and slapping it down in
front of her mom.
"Coming up." Ukyou performed her magic and made one deluxe okonomiyaki. She
looked up and saw a familiar woman with blond hair, a crown and a staff walk through
her store door. Ukyou smiled, but she was not happy to see Kayko. The last time she
saw her was ten years ago. Ukyou knew Kayko kept in touch with the Tendo sisters
and a few others in Nerima, and she knew her daughter went to Furinkan High with
Ranma’s twins, but since she attacked Kayko that day so long ago Kayko kept her
 distance.
"Whoa, where’s the circus? You see what just walked in mom?" Pepper said quickly.
"Pepper, hush!" Go bring this deluxe out." Ukyou reprimanded her daughter.
Kayko received stares from the other customers as she walked up to the counter and
sat down. Ukyou meet her eyes as she sat.
"Long time no see." She said to the Queen.
"Maybe for you, but I saw you last week."
"Excuse me?" Ukyou questioned. "Are you spying in me?"
"No, I’m from another time line."
"What?"
"Okay bare with me for a second. Something has happened that screwed up the time
line. I noticed the change, since I’m outside of time.*5 * I believe it was the death of
 Ranma that did it."
Ukyou looked at Kayko as if she had five heads. She shook her head side to side.
"Are you feeling okay, sugar?"
"Okay don’t believe me, but I need some information before time catches up. How and
 when did Ranma die?"
Ukyou again looked at Kayko with a strange face.
"Please Ukyou, just tell me." Kayko pleaded.
"Well, your sister-in-law, Incendia, did it right before we were all going to graduate." Ukyou’s
eyes began to water, "He was 18."
"Cendia? She did it, but why?" Kayko asked.
"We don’t know, but she was different. I mean, yeah she was a spunky kid, even at
fourteen when she helped you out when that guy Vigor was after you *6*, but at least
she had a good heart. This was like she was possessed or something. She was also
older, I mean way older then us at the time. I mean how could that be she’s like two or
three years younger then us.." Ukyou lifted her sleeve and showed Kayko a scar that
ran up her arm. "This was from them. I tried to help, but she burned me bad, almost
killed me. At least I made out better then Akane and Shampoo."
"Why what do you mean?"
"Incendia got real angry with her, because they was trying to stop her or something.
She ended up blinding Akane for life and killing Shampoo."

"Oh!"
"Yeah, but at least Ryoga was there to help Akane through her crisis. Poor Mousse,
though, he was so upset he ended his own life. I mean we all took Ranma’s death
pretty bad. That’s one of the reasons I haven’t seen you since we got in a fight about it."

"Humor me and tell me why I got in a fight with you." Kayko asked.
"Well, it was the anniversary of his death and someone asked how it happened and
why you weren’t you there to stop it. Umm… words were exchanged and we fought. I’m
not proud or it, I guess I was still upset."
"Yeah I guess you had a right. But don’t worry I’m going to fix it."
"What do you mean? How?"
"I’m going to make sure she doesn’t kill Ranma. He is vital for the future. Plus, I believe
Kin and Yori have a right to be raised by their father.
"Is that possible?"
"Yes, I will send someone back to warn and help him."
"Why don’t you go yourself."
"I can’t. To go back seventeen years, that’s to long for me to be able to hold the
physic shield on my world and have any power to defeat her. No, I will have to send Kit.
  Maybe the twins too."
"The twins? You mean Kin and Yori? Are you sure?"
"Yes, Kit may not be able to handle Cendia if she is possessed all by herself. Kin’s skills
are way past where Ranma was around the time he came to Nerima. Yori’s up there too.
I just got to make sure I go back to the right time, before it time changes over." Kayko
stared up to the ceiling, thinking.
"Umm…you lost me." Ukyou said breaking Kayko’s concentration.
"Huh?, Oh, umm nothing. I have to go. Sorry to cut and run, but I have to go." Kayko
stood up and looked at the young girl serving a customer.
"I that your daughter?"
"Yes, her name is Pepper."
"She’s beautiful, just like her mother."
"Thanks." Ukyou smiled.
"Good-bye Ukyou."
"Good-bye."
Kayko tapped the staff on the ground. A portal open and Kayko took one last
look at Pepper. For she knew is Ranma lives she probably won’t exist. It was a sad
thought, but Ranma was more important. Kayko focused her power, this was going to a
strain on her powers. She would have to contact herself right after she returned from
picking up Kin, Kit and Yori. The portal she walked through, normally had twirled with
many colors clockwise, as she concentrated it began to go the other direction.

A portal opened and Lee greeted his wife, daughter and her friends, Kin and Yori.
"Why hello there." He said.
"Father!" Kit ran over to him and gave him a great big hug.
"How’s my little princess?"
"Dad, I’m not little anymore." She giggled.
He laughed, "You’ll always be my little princess.
Kayko walked over with Kin and Yori.
"And you, my beautiful Queen." He said as he kissed her.
"Hello." She said and smiled.
"So Kin, Yori how are you?" he asked, but at that time another portal opened up in the
room.
"What the?" Lee said as another Kayko walked out of it.
"Mom what is going on?" as she looked at the one standing next to her.
"Darling I have no idea." She replied.
"Sorry to interrupt but I must talk to my younger self." Kayko said walking over to herself
standing next to Kit and Lee.
"Okay?" Kayko reached out her hand and touched the other Kayko’s hand. A minute
passed by as everyone watched in silence, but it wasn’t silent in the younger Kayko’s
mind. The other Kayko was passing all the information to her telepathically. After the
minute Kayko released her hand and said, "I understand."
Kayko then bowed slightly and tapped the staff and walked into a portal. Then Kayko,
the one that received all the new information turned to Kit, Kin and Yori.
"We have to talk."

     Present

"And that’s why we weren’t effected. We sent back before the timeline had changed."
Kit said as they continued to the dojo.

"Kin, how come you were wanted to fight Ranma?" Akane asked.
"Oh, that. Well I still haven’t been able to beat Pops. Not even when Yori and I double
team him. I guess I just wanted to see if he was as good as a fighter as everyone said he
was during his youth. I just wanted to see if beat him." He said.
As they continued walking they came across the chain link fence that Akane
and Ranma pass walking to and from school. As if it was involuntary response Ranma,
Kin and Yori jumped onto the fence and walked. Akane stared at all three of them. Kin
and Yori looked so much like him, she thought. If Kit didn’t say there were his future
children, they could of easily passed as brother and sister. Soon the fence ended and
the three of them jumped off. They all passed through the gates leading into the Tendo
house, kicked off there shoes and preceded in. Inside sat Ukyo, Shampoo, Mousse,
Cologne, Kodachi, Soun, Genma and Nabiki. When the five of them walked in, the
question that was on everyone’s mind was screamed by all. "WHO’S THE MOTHER!"

"Geez good news travels fast." Said Ranma.
The group was looking Kin and Yori up and down. Asking a billion questions at once.
Declaring who the mother is.
"Well he has dark hair and eyes, I must be the mother." One said
"She has Amazon build, I their mother." Shampoo said.
"Well her hair has the same texture as mine, I must be the mother. Said another.
"Ha, you wish. Their eyes are the same as mine. Replied someone else
"That can be said for all of you." Nabiki answered.
"My boy! You can tell me who the mother is." Genma said to Ranma.
"AHHH! For the record! I don’t who their mother is. They don’t know who their mother
is and NO ONE is finding out!" Ranma screamed now breathing heavily, trying to calm
down.
Everyone just stared and sat down. Kit began to explain everything she told Ranma and
Akane back in the nurse’s office and during the trip home.

Meanwhile somewhere Ryoga Hibiki stared at a map, trying to find out where he was.
"If this is South." he said looking down the street, "Then this must be North." He turned
in the other direction. Ryoga walked down the street and stopped in front a glass
window. A door opened, bells rang, and a girl bumped into him.
"Oh, I’m sorry, please…Hey you were here an hour ago asking for directions." She said.
Ryoga switching from looking at the map and the girls face stumbling over words.
"Well…I.. Uh … Yeah I guess I was. Could you tell me where the Tendo Dojo is in Nermia."
The girl giggled, "Here let me see your map, I’ll mark it." She took hold of the map and
stared at it, then gave Ryoga a weird look. "This isn’t a map of Nerima. This isn’t even
a map of Japan. It’s a map of Italy."
"Oh. Damn you Ranma!" He cursed.
She laughed slightly. "Okay, go down the street four blocks. Make a left, then another
left, a right and go straight. You should see it on your left." She smiled as she watched
him take in the direction.
"Thank you, again." He said and he was off. He walked down the street four blocks
like he was told to and made a right. The girl shook her head side to side, pitying him.

Ryoga was lost again. He didn’t have a map to look at, so he had to ask
another person directions. He looked down the street and noticed a women walking.
"Oh good I can ask that women." He waited till the figure got closer to him, when she
was close enough he saw that she had orange red hair. Not that was anything new for
him. One time when he ended up in San Francisco. There were lots of people with
weird color hair, not to mention weird everything else.
"Excuse me miss, but could you please tell me where the Tendo Dojo is?" He asked.
She stopped in front of the Lost boy, slightly taller from the high heeled boots she wore.
"I know you, you were there last time. You are to blame as much as him."
"Do I know you…?"
She smiled wickedly, her eyes flared. "You shouldn’t play with fire, because you can
 get burned."

To be continued…..

but at the time there was no Kayko and the mirror thing has been done....So that is how
I came up with the character Kayko. And if you haven't notice she has taken on a life of
her own.

3) In the end of The Triune Power Kayko is killed by Vigor in order to get the Head-piece

to live the goddess Gaea left behind a small potion of herself.
