You blink in surprise as a blue haze engulfs you.  You're lurched forward though nothingness for seemingly endless seconds.  Finally, the haze clears and you land, hard, on the ground.
Spitting out clumps of dirt, you push yourself to a sitting position and glance around.  I must have chose wrong.  You think to yourself as you see familiar towering trees and luminescent blue flowers.  Your gaze shifts around the forest clearing.  The trees seem familiar because they're all over the path leading to the warren.  The same goes for the flowers.  Yet you can recognize nothing else in this odd clearing.
"Enjoy yourself, wanderer?"  Laughs a deep male voice.  You spin around in circles, trying to locate the voice.  Something orange in one of the taller trees catches your attention.
You blink in surprise.  The first thing to catch your attention is the man's obvious shirtlessness.  After the first shock, you notice two small horns sprouting from his forehead and his rusty colored goat legs.  Goat legs?!
The man's laughter fills the air as you stare in stunned silence.  He grins broadly and jumps lightly out of the tree.  Barely a sound is made as his onyx hooves meet the ground.  One hand tightly clutches a set of panpipes while the other steadies the man's balance.  He stands slowly, reaching a total height of somewhere around 6'.
"Well, well.  Either you're the newest recruit or just a stunned wanderer."  After a moment, he adds with a smirk, "I'd go for the latter."
"Uh... y- you have..." You begin to stutter.  "Goat legs?"
The man laughs again; a deep joyful sound that fills the forest.
"Yes, I have goat legs."  He grins broadly.  "I'm a Faun."
    "A wha-?"
"A Faun.  Something like a cross between a goat and a man.  There's not many of us who choose to be seen by human eyes."
    "Oh..."  You manage weakly.
"Name's Saiuun."  The Faun states as he grasps your hand in a friendly shake.
"I'm [insert name here]."  You return, still bewildered by Saiuun's odd appearance.
"Nice to meet you, [insert name here].  I suppose you've been sent to check out the dragon riders, hmm?"
    You nod slightly.
"Ah!  Good!  Mystic said I might get a few visitors down this way.  Uh... sorry 'bout the whole riddle thing."  Saiuun explains as he lifts the panpipes to his lips.  "It's needed for protection.  If you're still a bit confused by it, the words you saw were actually numbers.  Ini is one, You is two, Lo is three and so on.  When you get to the teens, you just add ana to the root word.  It's a similar system all the way through." Before you can ask protection from what, a shrill whistle pierces the still air. Saiuun lets the call last a few minutes then die into silence.
You stare at him in bewilderment as he simply gazes at the blue sky above. Suddenly, the bright, mid-day sun is blotted out by a massive shape.
In awe, you watch as the dragon glides overhead. Streams of sunlight glint off his deep sapphire scales. Strong muscles pulse with each down stroke of his wide, powerful wings. The dragon's liquid red eyes sweep over the clearing. Pools of lava that watch everything and nothing. He beats his wings one last time as four massive claws grip the ground. The dragon looks down at you and grins a draconic grin.

"Hello." The dragon's deep voice rumbles through the clearing.
"Uh..." You stutter. Saiuun chuckles and walks up to the dragon's side. He pats the tall shoulder lovingly.
"This is Byarae. He's a Meletanian from Meletania."
"Oh." You say. Saiuun laughs again.
"I think our friend's had a bit too much excitement. Guess I should be sending him back."
You look at him oddly.
"Send me back?  How?  I came here through a confused blue light."
He laughs one last time before grinning broadly.  "Hang on."
To what?  You're about to ask when suddenly, a sharp note is played on Saiuun's panpipes and you're flying back towards the blue light and impression tunnels beyond.
