		I do wonder, looking at all this, what ever happened to the Mythical. I mean, there certainly was a lot of interest. The cafe owners were into it, the press loved it, and the musicians seemed to be starving for it. I burned out, that's true, but I honestly don't think I was the Mythical. By the time I quit touring it had a life of its own. You know, a living thing can die of old age, but the Mythical wasn't old. A living thing can commit suicide, but the Mythical had everything to live for. A living thing can meet with some kind of an accident, but how is a cafe circuit going to trip down the stairs? Did you ever see a movie called Atlantic City, with Burt Lancaster? This is the movie where Springsteen got the line "Everything dies baby, that's a fact, but maybe everything that dies someday comes back".
