Sandi Bardeau, the owner of the Corner in Ashcroft, filled the place with the best audience on the circuit, made sure the hat was literally overflowing with money, took me home, fed me, gave me a place to sleep, and even named a coffee after me.

I never knew her, we never met, but it was nice of her to take the trouble, to let me know she enjoyed the music. Thank you Marguerite.

I'm not sure why, but this bumper sticker was presented to me by a bookstore owner in Idaho who heard me interviewed on the CBC.
