LEGAL UPDATE from the N16 Legal Collective, 11-23-00: John Sherman is out of jail after his hunger fast and all his charges have been dismissed. Caleb, Clifford Bennet, Mike Lasday, and Colin and Brian Cairns all pled not guilty today to their various charges. They have jury trials set for late in January. All of them are out of jail. Colin Moore plead no contest to this riot charge and was sentenced to 5 days. We are talking about possible appeals to the no contest charges because the womyn were pretty much all lied to by their public defender. Anyone arrested who pled no contest who is interested in this, please email legal. We have some pretrials coming up in early December, we will post those dates soon. Please support those of us who are not yet done with their N16 actions are are fighting an unjust prison system.
