What We Are Doing:

Hello class! We have been learning about our Earth and the animals that live in it.            You are going to have such fun learning about some of the animals that live on our Earth. You are to be the scientist doing a special report on an animal. As the scientist, you are going to research your animal. Since scientists can't just say anything that sounds good to them, you should be able to prove what you learn by writing down the information you collect onto your Animal information form. Of the complete list that you have in your foodchain workbook, we will only use two animals. These are the animals you will choose from and study about. By the end of your search, you will be able  to locate and research animals online, and apply this information to local animals in your area

What you will do The most important thing for you to do is to do your best, have fun and learn a lot!    1. Choose an animal:                      -The Butterfly                      -The Frog      2.  With your buddy from our buddy chart, print out  a copy of the Animal Information Form. This page is what you will use to write your information you learn about your animal. Go to the powerpoint presentation and learn about the life cycle of your animal. Remember that when you go to your research links, you may need to type in your animals name (ex. Butterfly). You may also use our school library and animal computer log to gather information.                       4.  Print out the coloring page for your animal and color it.  (Making it look as alike as your research as possible.) On your own, create a poster on our small poster sheets and paste your animal from the coloring page onto your poster sheet.                            -Coloring page for The Butterfly.                            -Coloring Page for The Frog.
