Until You 17

The clock had struck twelve times in the afternoon when Ami finally closed the first aid-kit boxes and put them into one of the kitchen shelves. She hadn’t sleep more than twenty-four hours and she was tired as hell. All of them were assuming that she was the one who wasn’t affected by the previous fight and she had let them. But in truth, the newly healed wound that was caused and healed by Serena was painful. Well, you cannot expect that wound caused by Silver Crystal can heal in amazingly short time, can you? Ami reminded herself. Now that everyone had finally fallen asleep, Ami allowed herself to sit on an armless chair, put her hand on her chest and her head rested on her other hand on the table in front of her. Ironically, the pain hadn’t appeared when she was busy tending other wounds. It suddenly decided to punish her for ignoring it by appearing when she was about to rest.

Zoisite had awoken from his sleep and realized that it was a quarter to noon. Rubbing his sleepy eyes away, he sat from the sofa in the living room that he had been sleeping and wondered why was he sleeping here instead of his comfortable bed. Then, he recalled that Darien and Serena had occupied his room. A smile appeared when he realized that the generals’ penthouse had been their healing sanctuary ever since they showed up. It proved how much the guardians, the prince and princess trusted them. And it pleased him very much. Then he stood up and walked to the bathroom to freshen up.

While he walked out of the bathroom and was tying his long blond hair, the clock had struck twelve and then he heard someone was in the kitchen. Frowning, Zoisite realized that there was someone among them who hadn’t gotten his rest. When he walked to the kitchen, he saw that someone was apparently she and she was Ami. First, he didn’t notice the way Ami painfully hold her chest and when he did, his frown was deeper and his strides were longer and faster. “Ami!”

Ami reacted abruptly over Zoisite’s voice as if she was guilty to be found like this. She hastily stood up but unable to put away her hand from her chest. When Zoisite tall figure loomed in front of her, Ami knew that he was angry with her for hiding her injury. When he was this close to her, he could hear her shallow breaths and they confirmed his suspect. “Are you hurt?” Zoisite’s tone was more accusing then concern.

“It’s nothing…” Ami waved a dismissal hand. “Serena had healed it during the attack.”

“Nevertheless, you are hurt!” Zoisite said in disbelief. “I can’t believe you hide it from me and let me sleep for six hours!”

“I’m fine…” Ami started but suddenly felt her legs couldn’t support her anymore and felt dizzy. Probably from the lack of rest and the way she vigorously used her power as soon as Serena healed her. Zoisite saw that and he immediately lifted her from the floor. Ami gasped as she put her arms around his neck for support. “I guess…I’m not fine at all…” She tried to joke.

“This is not funny, Ami,” Zoisite tried to admonish her. She didn’t answer him and when he felt her hands that were around his neck loosened and fall lifelessly; Zoisite knew that Ami had fainted from utter exhaustion and from her injuries. He was going to take her somewhere to rest. But where? Zoisite thought as he stood in the middle of the living room with Ami in his arms that connected to four rooms that he knew each one of them was fully occupied. Knowing that he had no choice, Zoisite advanced to the sofa that he slept before and gently laid her there. After he made sure that Ami was comfortable, he went to get some fresh and damp towel.

He then, kneeled beside her and wiped her face and neck. “Ami…” he called softly. He wanted her to sleep but not like this. “Ami, wake up…”

Slowly, a pair of sapphire eyes appeared and Zoisite heaved a sigh of relief. “Zoisite…”

“I’m going to check on your wound,” Zoisite told her as his hand touched her chest. Ami knew what was going to happen and she began to blush profusely. “I’m not going to open it unless you want me too. I can wake Serena up.” Zoisite smiled at her blushes.

Ami knew that she was being a little bit wanton but she didn’t want Serena to tend her. She wanted Zoisite. Now, if only this damned blush would go away… “No,” Ami objected softly and shyly held his wrist onto her chest. “I don’t want Serena…I want you.”

Zoisite’s heart ached in unbearable tenderness when he realized how much Ami trusted him. Reaching out to push strands of blue-black hair from her pale cheeks, Zoisite slowly unbuttoned her shirt. When his fingers contacted with her soft flesh, desire flared instant through his body. He had imagined thousands of times the way she looked when he would make love to her. All beauty and graceful and beckoning him in her naked splendor. But, even though they weren’t exactly in the position that he craved for, the sight of her overwhelmed him and an unknown emotion fiercely filled every vein in his body. Zoisite didn’t know what it was but he had a feeling that this was how it felt when and intense desire mingled with passionate love. One did not know the way to satisfy this emotion because he knew no matter how deep the kiss was, how far the lover’s hand traveled or how many love words being uttered, he would never be satisfied. He was bound forever to feel this emotion and to his delight, Zoisite liked every single feeling that he felt whenever he was with Ami.

Drawing a deep breath as if he tried to surpass the emotions and desire inside him, Zoisite tore his gaze away from her lovely breasts and reverted to her face. Ami saw the intensity in his sea-blue eyes and her breath caught when she could actually feel the intensity flew inside her as well. Then things that she knew would happen whenever Zoisite looked at like that started to happen. Her lips started to tremble, her heart started to accelerate, her poise started to shatter and her body started to response warmly. “What…what’s the verdict?” Ami could only let out a husky whisper.

“It didn’t bleed…” Zoisite answered a whisper with a whisper. It was as if the whole atmosphere was vibrated with the undeniably yearning for each other and both of them were afraid to break it. “I guess you are lack of rest.”

“But where am I to sleep?” Ami asked, still in the same tone. “Every room is occupied…”

Zoisite let out a wicked smile as he lifted her from the sofa and settled himself in it. Then he lowered Ami so she could lie on top of him. “You could sleep on me instead,” Zoisite said suggestively. Ami looked down at a virile male that was sprawled invitingly beneath her and her lips twitched as the seductive atmosphere had converted into playful. “Then, I wonder if I could ever get that sleep?” Ami teased back.

“We both could…but that is after…” Zoisite laughed when he saw her blush. It felt so perfect to hold her in his arms like this and Zoisite knew that he would never ever withdrew the arms that were wrapped around her.

“After what?” Ami pretended she didn’t fully understand his words.

“After this!” Zoisite began to pin her beneath him and smiled widely when he heard her muffled laughter. Ami mocking pushed him away for pleasure of having him breached her protest. Zoisite, then, buried his face in the slender curve of her long neck, kissing and biting softly along it and paying extra attention to the spot where her pulse was beating. It was an evident that she was here with him, alive and happy. He intended to keep her like that for as long as he could. Ami knew when he started to do that, she could be lost forever in the sensation that he created.

When he heard his name escaped from her lips, his control snapped and he brought his lips to hers, tasting his name upon it. The kiss went on forever as both past-life lovers tried to express their love to each other. Zoisite kissed her deeply, urging her open her mouth. He kissed her as if this was their last kiss, taking and giving everything that he could in just one heart stopping kiss.

“I love you,” Zoisite stated when he finally broke the kiss. Ami drowned herself into the raging sea of his eyes and she saw everything that she wanted to see in her man. Intensity, desire, passion and yes…love. He had poured his heart in the kiss that they had just shared and even though he didn’t say it, she knew he wanted her to so the same.

Shyly, Ami lifted her hand and used her long and graceful fingers to trace the strong jaws. “I know…” Ami whispered without taking her eyes from his sea-blue eyes. “And I thank God every day from the day you came into my life until forever for that…”

Nephrite opened his eyes and realized that he was back in the small, dark and damp cell with his hands shackled to the wall. He didn’t know how he got into this cell. Didn’t his friends had come and let him out from this hellhole? Then, what the hell was all this? He heard suddenly the sound of footsteps echoed through the black hall and the old but very familiar fear snaked its way into his nerve. Nephrite began to feel his breath started to become shallow as he fought violently the fear inside. His body tense unbearably and his hands started to clench tightly when fear started to mingle with hatred. He had never felt this helpless and vulnerable before.

But then a bright light suddenly shone in front of him that forced him looked away and closed his eyes. When he opened back his eyes he saw that he was no longer in the tiny cell but in a room where he recognized so well for he had spent so many times in this room. With Lita… This is Lita’s bedroom! What the hell…

A portal suddenly opened in the middle of the darkened room and a tall figure walked out from the gaping portal. Even though darkness had swallowed most of his profile away, anyone could see that the anger was flaring in his eyes, making them the only thing that was visible. He narrowed his eyes around the room as if he was searching for something that was supposed to be his but was taken away. Then, his eyes fixed on to the sleeping figure that was laying on the bed and a sinister smile curved up. He walked purposely toward the sleeping figure and when he arrived, a streak of moonbeam silhouetted his face. Nephrite felt as if his heart had stopped beating when he saw whom the figure was.

“Jupiter…” the figure whispered softly. Lita opened her eyes and when she saw a looming dark figure beside her bed, she instinctively sat up and shrank away. What she saw scared her and the face that was the only thing washed by the moonbeam, showed an unbearable anger but at the same time satisfied to find her unprepared like this.

“I’m coming to get you, my love,” A strong hand came out to caress her soft cheek and Lita slightly trembled when she felt his hand started stroked her lips. “I told you that this is not over yet, didn’t I”

“Go away, Ian,” Lita let out an order which she knew was a total futile and she cursed silently for the tremble in her voice.

“How can I without you coming with me!” With that, Ian forcefully grabbed her from her bed. Lita let out a surprise cry and again cursing herself for daring to sleep alone in his own house with no one around. Ian twisted her arms behind her and heard Lita cried from the pain that he cause. “Stop struggling, Jupiter!” Ian said from behind her. Lita turned her head sideway to spit on to his face. “This can only hurt you more!”

“Lita!” Nephrite shouted as he struggled his wrist against the shackles. He tugged violently and it only hurt him instead of releasing him from the restrain. A cry escaped from Nephrite’s mouth and he didn’t know whether it was because of pain in his wrists or frustration for not be able to relieve him from the shackles. But both Ian and Lita acted like he didn’t exist here. Lita continued to struggle from Ian’s vicious grips.

“What do you expect?!” Lita cried, breathless from her impossible struggle to escape from Ian’s iron grips. “That I will willing go with you?”

“That’s what I’m expecting from you, Jupiter!” Ian tightened his grip on Lita’s arms and the other hand to draw her close to him. “There’s no way I’m going to have the bastard have you! You’re mine! You hear that, Jupiter?”

“Like hell I am!” Lita shouted. Her heart was tightened with fear when she saw that they were an inch away from the gaping portal. She struggled harder and miraculously, his grip loosened and Lita took the opportunity to elbow Ian’s face as hard as she could and ran towards the door. She cared less that she was still in her short, satin nightgown or it was three o’clock in the morning. All she knew that she had to get away from Ian!

Ian let out a loud curse and started to run after her. Lita’s shaking legs weren’t match against Ian’s long strides and immediately she was in his clutch again. Ian angrily grasped Lita loose and wild hair and pulled her face outwards to meet him. “If I can’t have you, no one else will!” Then, he lifted her on top of his massive shoulders and walked toward the portal.

“Nephrite!!!”

* * * * * *

“Lita!!!” Nephrite sat up from the nightmare, breathing hard and sweating profusely. The images of Lita’s terrifying face as Ian forced her was so vivid and real that Nephrite had to look around his vast bedroom to make sure that it was all just a dream. I wasn’t in Lita’s house… it’s just a dream…a dream… Thank God… Nephrite closed his eyes in intense relief and when he raised his hands to cover his face, he saw his hands were trembling slightly. Slowly he curled his hands into fist, forcing himself to calm down. Gradually he began to breathing more properly and his heart receded its pounding.

Throwing away his bed quilt, Nephrite swung his legs to the bedside. There would be no sleep for him tonight. Ever since he got back from his imprisonment, he had managed to evade his friends’ question about Ian’s treatment to him when they saw his horrendous wounds. Not that he was trying to secretive, but whenever it came to Ian, he couldn’t express the hatred that ran deep between them. They were both tried to get in each other’s nerve ever since he was a royal general and Ian was a royal member. And the mutual hatred between them started to run so deep that they couldn’t even see the bottom when Ian started to betray his own kingdom, allying with the one who threatened to conquer both kingdoms, tortured and killed his friends and most of all, killed him in the deceitful way.

But then, if Ian continued to stay out of his life like he did before, Nephrite might have forgotten every betrayal that he had committed. But no. Ian started to feel he had to appear and did all those things that he had done. What hurt Nephrite the most was his imprisonment. The scar was too deep for him to share to anybody, including Lita. Every punch, kicking, insulting and choking would remain in his memory forever. For a man with a pride that huge, torture was something that he couldn’t swallow and forget about it easily. How could he forget the way his pride shattered when Ian treated him like a punch bag? Or the look of Ian with his triumphant whenever he managed to draw out his blood?

Nephrite ghostly touched the healing bruises and cuts on his lips. He looked down at his palm and saw the marks of his nails as if he was clenching his hands to tight. In his dream, he was clenching his hands so tight when Lita was taken away my Ian… Heaving a deep sigh, Nephrite closed his eyes and unwilling, the details of his dream came flooding back like a wave. How easy it was for Ian to teleport himself into Lita’s house. As if there were no barriers in the world could protect Lita from him. Suddenly Nephrite let out a bitter laugh. Didn’t Ian have once teleported himself into Lita’s room? If he invaded Lita’s sanctuary once again, Nephrite wasn’t sure if he would be gracious enough to just kiss and disappear like he did before.

Uneasiness slowly settled in Nephrite’s gut. The dream was a premonition to him. He started to worry about Lita’s safety. As the clock struck thrice, telling him in was three o’clock in the morning, he knew that he would not get any rest like Ami had ordered him to unless he did something about his dream.

Ian paced in his vacant castle. Since the generals and their damned prince had slaughtered all of his castle guard monsters and he couldn’t create any monster yet because of his injuries, Ian found that he was restless as a tiger for he couldn’t continue his plan. Of course his plan had gone a little bit amiss. The failure of getting Jupiter, the attack of his sanctuary and most of all Nephrite’s escape. Ian counted. Not to mention Endymion’s interruption when he tried to call out the cluster that he had buried inside Jupiter’s brain. But at least he still had a control over that. Ian thought sourly.

Ian looked at the sphere that nestled on to a velvet cloth. It was no longer green in color but yellow. He knew that the cluster needed more time before it exploded but he had lost all the patient to wait. He had just so much anger to vent and the only target that he found so satisfying was Nephrite. He wanted to explode the cluster now and he had nearly succeeded if Endymion didn’t touch the shield that he had generated. More importantly, he wanted to see Nephrite suffered more than anything else. And he better did it quick before Nephrite was completely healed.

Without he knowing it, Ian found himself inside the cell where he had imprisoned Nephrite. He glared at the iron shackles that were smearing with Nephrite’s blood. He walked towards the shackles and touched them. Gritting his teeth, Ian knew if Nephrite was still here, he would have beat the hell out of him until he drew the very last breath out. “Think you are safe from me, Nephrite?” Ian whispered as he gripped the shackles and watched Nephrite’s blood smeared on his hands. “You can’t hide from my wrath, my will…my vengeance…”

The morning was glorious as Lita walked in Nephrite’s room cheerfully. For the first time in many days since she knew about her illness, Lita felt so happy and her heart was so light. The feeling came so unexpected but when she put down the caramel pudding that she had made just for him and saw his long and alive body asleep on the bed, Lita knew why it lived inside her. It was because of Nephrite. He was here, he was alive and he was hers. She might don’t have all the time in the world to show him how much he meant to her but she would love him with all she could, so she wouldn’t regret it when she left the world.

As if he felt her, Nephrite opened his eyes. He was so tired. The sleep barely consumed him as the nightmare kept him awake all the night and when he finally got some sleep, it was nearly dawn. He wanted to continue his sleep but the urge to open his eyes and ensured himself she was there was irresistible. He saw her all right; busying herself by placing the food that she had brought to the plate. If Lita were the image he saw every time he opened his eyes for the rest of his life, he would ask nothing more.

He lay unmoved for moment. For a while he was contented just to watch every of Lita’s artless movement, to admire the way her heavy wavy chestnut hair was pulled up into a ponytail and cascaded beautifully over and behind her shoulders and to cherish the moment where he knew Lita was here, in front of him, alive and safe. He had used the sleepless night in thinking of what he might do to ensure Lita’s safety. Letting her lived in her apartment alone was definitely something he didn’t like. But where would she live if not her own apartment? Nephrite watched her as his mind actively whirled, searching for a solution.

Lita could feel his intense gaze upon her. She smiled, knowing that he had awake. “Nephrite…” Lita started as she turned around to greet him with a kiss. Then she stopped at the sight of Nephrite’s fatigue face. “You looked tired,” she stated.

“Am I?” Nephrite impulsively touched his face, and then resignedly shrugged his massive shoulders. He eased himself up, careful not to cause any pain to his broken ribs.

Lita sat beside him on the bed, putting a plate of pudding away. “Do you sleep at all?” She asked as her eyes roamed Nephrite’s pale face.

“I guess…” Nephrite started hesitantly. Here was the chance to make Lita saw that she was in serious jeopardy. But Nephrite wasn’t a man that sat and pondered about something endlessly. He was a man of action. Hesitation was something that he rather not did. “Lita, I need to tell you something. I don’t want you interrupt until I finish.” Lita’s face frowned and automatically opened her mouth.

“Promise me,” Nephrite insisted. Knowing Lita, she would probably fire off her arguments and protests before he could even start. Lita nodded her head suspiciously. She knew that she wasn’t capable of doing what Nephrite made her promised to but if that would make him start talking, it was fine with her.

Nephrite let a small smile. He bet with all his fortune that Lita would interrupt within five minutes he started talking. Nothing in the world could stop Lita from saying what was on her mind. “I had a dream last night. I’d like to call it an admonition, though.” Lita watched him intently, still holding her promise.

“I dreamed Ian took you away. He teleported himself inside your room and there were no one there to help you,” Nephrite voiced out his worries. “I know that Ian can do that. It’s not like he never did that before.” Lita’s eyes widened and she forgot about her promise to be silent until he finished. Nephrite saw her mouth opened and raised an eyebrow to remind her about her promised. Lita frowned deeper and silently crossed her arms beneath her breast as if trying to strain herself.

“I’m afraid the next he did that, kissing and warning are not the only thing in his list.” With that, Lita stood up and put her hands on her hips. “It’s not that I don’t trust you to take care of yourself.” Nephrite raised his hand in gesture to silent her. “But I think I can sleep much better at night if I knew you are somewhere with somebody to protect you.”

“What the hell?” Lita angered.

“Lita, you promised that you will be quiet until I finish,” Nephrite reminded her.

“Like hell I will shut up when you say things like that!” Lita cried. Her emerald eyes blazed and her color rose dangerously. “I will pretend not to hear you when you brought up the issue of Ian came into my room but the fact that you think I need protection is utterly insulting!” Nephrite grabbed her waving hand and pulled her to sit back next to him.

“Shut up, Lita!” Nephrite snapped.

Lita tugged her wrist violently, trying to escape from Nephrite’s grip. For a wounded man, he still had an amazingly strong grip. “I know what you’re trying to say, alright. You think that I’m incapable of protecting myself due to my illness, right!”

“I did not say that!” Nephrite interjected, feeling both angry with her and him. Damn her unbreakable pride! Both of them were so angry at each other. Breathing heavily, glaring each other murderously and the pudding was completely forgotten.

“You have no idea how it feels to be under Ian’s mercy!” Nephrite shouted and it stunned Lita. The shout was not filled with anger of her and Lita’s eyes widened when she suddenly realize how Ian’s tortures hurt him. It hurt him bad and deep. How deep Lita didn’t know. Yet. All this time, Lita thought this time injuries was no different from any injuries he had suffered before. Seeing he angry and anxious at the same time, Lita knew that it was very different. Nephrite was deeply hurt and he still struggled to hide it. Her anger died as quickly as her temper rose and her eyes shone with unshed tears.

Nephrite was oblivious to all that; Lita’s silent cry and hurt to see him like this. The memories of his imprisonment suddenly took over his mind and Lita saw his eyes started to darken with unconcealed hurt. He slowly released Lita’s hand. Lita pushed away all her pride and anger and sat beside him once again. “You don’t know, Lita…You just can’t…” Nephrite looked away for he was suddenly ashamed of his show of weakness. In front of his friends and Ian, he had put up a very strong and convincing mask of bravery. But when he knew Lita had discovered his pain that he had tried so damn hard to hide, the mask fell so quick… so unexpected.

Lita shook her head slowly in denial of Nephrite’s statement and wrapped her arms around Nephrite’s neck, her heart cried when she felt Nephrite stiffened. He was rejecting her… Tears slowly fell down. She knew that Nephrite couldn’t take her compassion easily for his pride was harder than hers and yet she wanted to share it with him. “Yes!” Lita said fiercely, unwilling to have his rejection weakened her intention of sharing. “Yes, I do know!” She could feel his body went tense at her words.

“I know exactly how it feels to be under someone’s mercy! I know exactly how it feels to be afraid every second, waiting for the torture to begin! I know exactly how it feels to be powerless, how it feels to be insulted every time the torture begins, how it feels to have hope slipped away and how it feels to bear the pain all by myself!” Lita’s body shook with uncontrollable sorrow. Nephrite’s eyes closed in a painful reminder of Lita’s horrendous experience in Planet Jupiter. He had been there to witness Lita’s sufferings and knew that his two days torture was nothing to compare to with Lita. But still… Nephrite looked away with his hands curled into tight fists.

“I’m a slave, Nephrite…” Lita whispered brokenly when she realized that Nephrite still rejecting her. “I’ve spent twenty years in my life bearing it. And… and when I was back there again after those years… even twenty years of experience couldn’t help me to get through that.” Lita buried her face in the contour of Nephrite’s neck. “I was so hopeless… so unwanted…” Lita’s sobs choked her violently that she almost couldn’t continue. “So… so don’t you dare tell me that I…I can’t understand it…”

“Lita…” Nephrite pulled her closer to him, his steel hard resistance crumbled completely. “My delight… my torment…” He wanted to absorb her pain and mingled it with his own. He wanted her to make the pain to go away. He wanted only Lita and no other.

Still shaken with the powerful turbulence of emotion that Lita had invoked in him, Nephrite raised his trembling hand and softly cupped her jaw. He raised her face from the smooth curving of his neck, so she would meet him face to face. The hand that was cupping her jaw slowly slid upwards and wiped away traces of tears that she had shed for him. Nephrite felt he could drown himself in her enormous green eyes that were, at this moment, glistening with tears. He swore that he had never felt this way before and knew that he wouldn’t and couldn’t feel this way to another woman for the rest of his immortal life. Lita was his beginning, his tears, his laughter, his home and his ending. “Lita…” He whispered intensely, his darkened blue eyes never left her green ones. “Have you any idea how much I love you?”

Lita’s heart burst into unbearable tenderness until she thought she couldn’t bear to contain her happiness when she heard his admission. Her heart was pounding so hard, her face was flushed with unconcealed pleasure and her hands were trembling. The effect that he had on her was unbelievable. Surely love this strong would last throughout eternity…

“I…” Lita tried to think of a response but Nephrite didn’t need one. Just one look at Lita’s expression when he said the word love, was all the response he would ever need. He saw her hesitation and Nephrite smiled softly. Seductively, he lowered his lips to taste the lips that had uttered everything, from the words of anger to the words of compassion for the last fifteen minutes. Immediately, Lita felt her breath quickened in anticipation and her heart pounding in excitement, as Nephrite’s kisses would always do to her.

The feeling of Nephrite’s lips on hers was both familiar and stranger to her. He smelt of the same fresh manly cologne and his lips molded onto hers as if he was made for her alone. But when he kissed her, his hands never moved the same way twice and he had always had his own way to surprise her. When Nephrite put his hands on her slender neck and the other on her back and laid her on his massive bed, Lita femininely wrapped her arms around his shoulders. Instantly, Nephrite’s intention of only soft kissing and subtle touching vanished and was replaced by a raging urge to ravish her thoroughly. Lita felt so small and delicate beneath him… he wanted to teach her everything, so that by the time he finished, she would be solely and exclusively his.

Nephrite kissed Lita with a surge of desperation that surprised both of them. With Lita pinned down beneath him, Nephrite supported himself with both of his elbows, so he wouldn’t crush her. Lita wanted to be closer to him. She shyly put her arms around his neck and backs until the space between them was inexistence. With her body this close to him, Lita could feel everything that Nephrite’s body felt. Lita could feel her mouth being fiercely plundered by his tongue. She could feel his body heat seeped deliciously into her body. She could feel his heart pounding strongly against her breast. She could hear his heavy breaths mingled with hers. Everything that was Nephrite’s was hers too. It was as if they have assimilated into one. Lita was filled with wonder.

Nephrite wanted to lose the clothing barriers between them but he reluctantly crushed down the yearning. If he were to be her lover, he wanted everything to be perfect. No bandages around his ribs, no bruises plastered all over his body and certainly not in the middle of broad daylight. Lita deserved much more than this. Knowing that his body couldn’t take any of this sweet torture anymore, Nephrite lifted his lips from hers. Their breaths were heavy and Nephrite could see disappointment in Lita’s eyes. Lita was too alien in this kind of loving and she didn’t know how to hide her feelings. God…he wanted nothing more but to oblige Lita’s needs and lose himself in her sweet lips and soft body but he knew he had to strain himself.

“Lita,” Nephrite whispered breathlessly. Lita looked up, her face flushed with the passion he ignited in her and her breaths were as heavy as the man on top of her. “If you kept on looking like that, I swear I’ll do something that I’m going to regret…”

“I don’t mind…” Lita’s voice came out shy. Right now, at this very moment, Nephrite was sorely tempted to do it but he just gave her a soft kiss on her smooth forehead and gathered her in his arms. For several moments, he tried to tone down the ardor and contented himself by lying on his back with Lita resting her head on his chest.

Tightening his arms around Lita, Nephrite said back teasingly but Lita could hear his reluctance. “No…maybe you don’t. I do.” Lita hid a smile at his words.

She raised herself, impulsively smoothed her wildly disheveled hair and sat beside Nephrite, who was still on his back. “All right, then… If you don’t want to kiss me…” Lita made a little moue on her lips that Nephrite found adorable. “You could at least appreciate the pudding that I’ve brought especially for you.” Lita reached out for the pudding that she intended to give him before the whole thing happened.

“Only if you shared it with me,” Nephrite’s voice sounded wicked and the grin that was plastered on his face enhanced the wickedness.

“Fine,” Lita said, pretending to resentful. Curving up a smile, Lita lifted the spoon and guided it to his lips.

Nephrite held her wrist and raised his eyebrows. “I thought you have agreed about sharing the pudding with me?” With that, Lita’s brows furrowed in confusion.

“Like this…” Nephrite said and took a bit of the pudding, drew Lita closed to him and kissed her. Through the mouthful kisses, Lita could feel the sweetness of the pudding melted inside her mouth from his sensual one. When the pudding was gone and the kiss broke, Lita slowly licked off the sweetness from Nephrite’s lips. The sensation was too much for both of them and the pudding was once again forgotten…
