I should be getting ready for Xmas,
but I decided to answer some of my mail first. I looked at the Nacogdoches
marriages, I have alway wondered about the Carroll F. Anderson that married
Rebecca Moore. I can't remember if they were listed on the 1850
Census of Nacogdoches Co., as I have nothering in my notes. No the Jonathan Anderson was not the same
as John C. Anderson. I have a lot of material on
him, he is related to Bailey Anderson, I think a nephew....would have to check
my notes to be sure. I think John C. Anderson is either a son
or grandson of Judith Sherrell Lewis Anderson. I will after
Xmas recheck this, I remember making notes on a John C. Anderson b ca 1828 in
Ms., I picked him up on the 1850 or 1860, can't remember if it was in Tx.
or Ms. Thomas B. Anderson, I feel sure it was the son of R.G. &
Judith, was listed on the 1860 census of Ms., as his age was 25 & he was 15
on the 1850 Bossier Parish Census. I
will send you copies of the letters, as Judith wrote that she wanted to
go back to Ms. to see about her dower ( that would be some of R.G. property).
Were R. G. & Judith listed in the Gateway of Texas? I haven't seen these
books. Have a Merry Xmas and may 2000

Kae, now that the holidays are over, maybe I can start
back on the Andersons. I am going to
make copies of the old letters that I promised you, plus I am sending William
Preston Anderson's descendants. If you have this, maybe
you or someone will be able to fit him in somewhere.
I found a John C. Anderson living in Angeline County in 1850, b ca 1828 in Ms.,
which could be R. G. & Judith's son. I will send this
later. Also the William P. Anderson that is R.G. &
Elizabeth, do you have anything on
him.? I found W. P. & his wife Ann Ward, which go back thru my notes
to see what County in Ms., plus the people in his household.
Also Thomas B. Anderson, I feel sure it was the same as was living with Judith
in 1850, he was listed on the 1860 of Ms.. Will look up my notes on
