I'm checking the Sixth Generation - James Muckleroy Corrections -

I have James Muckleroy born in December [from Elijah Muckleroy's Bible - copy of pages in my possession - last known place for Bible was with Elwanda Williams Barton - now deceased. She was a granddaughter of Jim Muckleroy, son of James H. Incidentally, Clyde Barrow was Uncle Jim's wife, Susie Virginia Walker's nephew. Susie's sister Cumi Walker Barrow was Clyde's mother. I have enjoyed corresponding with a Walker descendant and trying to figure out some relations. I have a bit on my database now, but I'm looking for a Brown connection to the Barrons and Walkers. They were mostly buried at Swift.

Mary ELIZA Bentley was the daughter of Margaret Elizabeth HAMIL.  HAMIL is usually spelled Hamil  instead of Hamel, but that is no big deal. There are some early Tennessee records that say Hamel. However, the Hamil family is a literate family and spelled the name Hamil in Nacogdoches Co. Margaret's brother, Squire Samuel H. Hamil took the census. Also, I have never seen Whitmel/Whitmil spelled with 2 "l"s. There is a Whitmell family in NC that I expect to connect him to eventually, but his name gets spelled all sorts of ways. No big deal. Some early spellings of Mary Eliza Bentley's name showed Elizabeth. The Bentley family Bible, copy in my possession has her as Mary Eliza. She has a sister Jane Elizabeth so I guess they had used the name Elizabeth alreadly.

George was named after Marquis de Lafayette and called "Fate." He was born 29 Aug 1842. He married Samelia THOMASON. Samelia was a HAMIL descendant, daughter of Margaret's sister Jane who married David THOMASON.

Mary Texana married Wm. Edward Johnson.

I have some mixed up information in my files regarding marriage and locations for Joseph D. Muckleroy . I would like to see what someone thinks of what I have together for him.

Albert married Josephine THOMASON, sister to Sonora Thomason (below) and daughter of Robert Jackson Thomason and Mary A. E. Lusk.

Austin Jones Muckleroy was married to Sonora "Nora" Thomason, granddaughter of Jane Hamil and David Thomason through their son, Robert Jackson Thomason.

Also, the son of Austin Jones name was spelled Conda. My mother and sister Adarene called him Condie. They told me about going with their mother to visit him. Actually to visit Aunt "Mealy" I think. Aunt Mealy lived with Conda in her old age. That was Samelia Thomason who married Uncle Fate. I saw Conda spelled with an "r" on another of your pages in generation 8, my page 3, No. 189.
