| This would be my place of residence, at least for the time being. That place is called Springfield (no Homer, NOT yours! Take your beer and go tend to Marge) in Oregon. I love living here, coming from a country that knows no mountains, it still amazes me every day to walk around here and see them almost where ever I turn. Beautiful I tell you, simply beautiful. |
| I've only been here a little while so I haven't exactly been able to go on any big tours around the States yet, which I do hope to be able to do at some point. Maybe not all at once, but... Oh sorry, drifting off the subject at hand here. Anyway... I've been to Madras, Milwaukee and Springfield and area. Oh and I mustn't forget Florence, although that was on my visit last year. |
| Well, Madras is a very (!) small town, other then hat I can't say too much about it yet because I didn't have a car available to go drive around and check it out properly. And to be honest all I saw in Milwaukee was the apartment of our friends, but that was still cool! And the drive up there was very nice. But I'm slowly getting to know the area here; Buford Park would be my favorite place to be at the moment. Simply because of its serene beauty. I like Springfield too, not too big, not too small. You can get around without a car, but with one you're better off, I've found that out very early on. I'm overall enjoying getting to know the place. But I will tell you, I feel more at home here then I have ever done In Holland. |
