Description:

Yaerav is an exceedingly beautiful specimen of the human race. Or, maybe "beautiful" is not the best word for it- "polished" might be better: his face is almost perfectly symmetrical, his body is shaped in exactly the right proportions... and Yaerav has chosen an attire to match his outward "near-perfection", preferring to wear impeccably white garments with simple sets of matching jewelry, making him look rich and stylish without being overly presumptuous.
His armor consists of masterfully crafted half-plate with an inlay of fine silver lines that form a display of two rearing dragons. His silver hand-and-a-half sword was crafted to neatly match the armor, looking like a silver dragon in full flight, breathing a jet of frost.

What Yaerav is nót is "handsome": while no real fault can be found in him at first glance, everything about him is júst a little overdone, a little tóó neat: all in all he looks a little like a second-rank actor in a second-rank opera.
To top it off, Yaerav is polite to a fault- which can at times become very annoying.

History:

House Aeyar claims to be ancient- more then a thousand years old, actually, when a union silver dragon of unknown size/age and the human lady Treann (who, according to one little-known poem was a sorcerer of considerable ability, although nothing is mentioned about any of her exploits apart from bearing the children of a dragon) No hard evidence exists, though, that the family that now bears the name Aeyar is in any way related to the Aeyars of legend, and since they have been rather poor for the last couple of centuries, even the evil rumors that the real forebearer of the House was an imposter are rarely heard nowadays: discrediting House Aeyar simply isn't worth the effort anymore.

Yaeav Aeyar, now, was born as the third child and first son of Ghandal Aeyar and Mye Shathan- Mye being a commoner, and Ghandal only half caring about his stature anymore.

But if there was anyone who had lost all ambition for his House, it was certainly nót Yaerav!
Or well, maybe being, technically, "a noble" had pounded great dreams in his head, and then, when he first saw the shining armor and pretty uniforms of a couple of officers of the Sunndian army, he was completely sold. Not that the Sunndian army was in any way interested in him at first, by the way. Maybe, when he applied, the roster had already been filled, maybe (probably, actually) he seemed just a little overenthousiastic, but anyway, they turned him down, and told him to first travel around for a bit, see the world, grow up, and then return in a year or so... Which sounded as good a starting mission as any.

It did not finish there, though: Yaerav actually proved to be a hardy adventurer, even if, on occasion, he let himself be knocked out because in Yaerav's mind it would not be according to the law and/or good manners if he were to draw his sword. But the real turning point came when Yaerav, through a LOT of effort, managed to coax his mind and soul into accepting and channeling traces of arcane energy. This, to him, proved that there might still actually be a little of Aeyar's blood flowing through his veins! And after that, Yaerav became as obsessed as few people but Yaerav could become: if he would be able to prove the Aeyar heritage true, he thought, and "rekindle the dragon's blood", he would be able to restore his family (and himself!) to their rightful place.
