It has been turbulent half century for us Nagas. Beginning with the political turmoil in the early 50's, down a bloody trail through the decades. Here we are today, the first few years into a new century and it is perplexing when we look around and see the sheer magnitude of challenges before us. The political uncertainty, coupled by various socio-economic problems, has brought up myriad issues which need to be deliberated and acted upon.
The Internet - a growing favourite medium of information among Nagas (students especially) - offers an excellent platform for informed Nagas to bring their heads together. However, there is a dearth of websites catering to this exclusively for the Nagas. Recognizing this need, NagaTalk has been put together. It is the endeavour of this site to be an effective interactive interface for Nagas wherever they may be. NagaTalk is purely a private intiative and has no affiliations with any parties whatsoever.
The site only intends to set the ball rolling while banking entirely on visitors to shape its future contents and features. All topics of discussion featured on this site are contributions of Naga netizens. The rules are simple here. It is the visitors to the site themselves who bring out the topics to be discussed and contribute their ideas and arguments towards it.
To make the website interactive, we have, for the time being, divided it into four rooms. More will be added according to your preferences in the days to come.
