Course Objectives:

Learn the basic components of an Access database
2. Learn how to create tables and forms
3. Know how to create and modify basic reports
4. Develop basic queries and use queries to answer questions
5. Make forms goof-proof
6. Become a skillful database creator

- Focuses on understanding users' data needs

- Plans databases from the end to the beginning

- Understands that there is more than one way to solve a database problem

- Strives to provide/publish data in an easily understood form
