Grant, Todd, Kerri, Linda, Me and April in Corfu Island, Greece. We rented 2 jeeps that day and drove around the island, boy was that adventure .
Me at the Erechiteion and the Karyatids at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. For those of you unfamiliar with Greek mythology, this is site of the mythical contest between Poseidon (God of the Sea) and Athena (Goddess of Wisdom) to determine who would be the city's patron god. The olive tree behind me was Athena's winning gift to the city, thus the name, Athens.
At the Colosseum, Rome you find, Romans. duh....
Me at the Basilica di San Marco in Venice, Italy. Legend has it that in 828, 4 Venetians conspired to smuggle the remains of St. Mark from Alexandia thus replacing St. Theodore as the patron saint of Venice.
Me and Josef (dressed in authentic period costume of Vienna) at the Volksstadt. Talking with Josef, he is from Yugoslavia studying Egyptology in Egypt and spending his summer in Austria. Interesting. Yes, I just chat with anyone huh, LOL!!! He was quite handsome in that Slavic European way :_
