While you lay sleeping
A thought it came to me
What if I could be there
And lay along with thee
I'd find the wing's from somewhere
Fly swiftly cross the sea.
While you were sleeping
I'd give you a surprise
I'd brush my hand accross your face
Until I heard your sigh's.
While you were sleeping
And in a dream thought thee
I'd snuggle up beside you
And fill you full of glee.
While you were sleeping
I'd wrap myself in you
I'd hold you close
Much nicer than most
And never have you blue.
While you are sleeping
These thought's they come to me
Wishing I was there
Not far accross the sea.
While you are sleeping
Keep me in your heart
I'll feel your warmth
Although from afar
And hope we never part...
