Life
An expanse of road,
A long and weary travel walks upon thee,
Alas, the road is FULL of crannys and bumps,
However sometimes, the road smooths to a neutral
But a weary traveler bears a thorn in his side,
Oh how tired is he!
But this thorn, it shan't budge and it certainly
won't just get up and leave,
But this traveler just keeps trudging on,
Why will he not just stop for a rest
Realistic idea some may ponder,
But he only has once chance to travel this road,
And that is how he will live.

Author's Comment:
Of course I didn't write about a person walking
down a road with a thorn in his side- it has a
meaning and if you haven't figured it out, the
road is life, the traveler of course, is a person,
and the thorn is a trouble! Get it now?
Thanks much for reading and I hope you enjoy it as
much as enjoy reading everyone else's poems!
