Haikus for Squanto!
He was held captive,
And removed from his country
By men from England.
They lead him to Spain.
But the monks were on his side.
They supported him.
They helped him depart,
And to go away from Spain.
He went to England.
He worked for a man
That he appreciated.
He now spoke English.
He was able to
Go away to his country.
He helped immigrants.
He was training them
To plant corn and catch their fish.
They were friends for life!
